Excellent work.

I have the one that came without any software aside from the drivers and it does what I want - drawing random doodles and sketches.

The map looks incredible and it definitely deserves to be an official map. I'm interested to know why you have to rebuild it all from scratch.

Trailer was fantastic but it looks like your standard run-of-the-mill CS clone.

Not to forget mentioning the time you spent waiting for someone to reply on your thread. Don't even try to deny it, I know you did.
Yes. This is exactly what I do.

Personally I find it very difficult to stop opening up Firefox every 15 minutes and browsing various news sites and forums for about half an hour - checking for any new content/posts. It definitely doesn't help me to get more work done then I'd like to. Now I used to play guitar for 2 hours everyday but over the past year the amount of time dedicated to it has slowly declined and it's certainly something I'd like to get back into as it helps me to concentrate on specific tasks which require a lot of mental persistence and clears my mind of anything internet-related.

It's good to realise that you spend too much time on unnecessary things when there are much more important things to do.

Some guy wrote to the show asking why they never do 'proper' reviews on Top Gear, so obviously Clarkson thought it would be a good idea to do a tongue-in-cheek review of a 'normal' car.

Is it green? Yes. It's very green.

You could always try parenting the door to an invisible func_door and force it to 'open' when Blu successfully win the round.
Love the vault!

did you add the dof in photoshop or is that a source feature i didn't know about ? looks much better than the ut3 dof
It's an effect you can achieve using Photoshop. Linky.
Love the promo. It's very awesome.

Yes. Yes they are.

I did add some supports at one point but they blocked the view into the lighthouse which isn't what I wanted so I took them out, left the model alone, and focused on getting the map finished for a release this week simply because I've got other stuff to be working on!

The lighting has changed to something that is a lot cooler which I believe fits the theme a lot better then the harsh sunlight and long-shadows of the old setup, plus it creates a nice, calm, relaxing atmosphere which is what I'd imagine to be my perfect island.

I've also created a new soundscape. I'll upload a short audio clip of it when I get onto my main PC. It's basically the two high and low desert wind noises combined with random seagull squawks and distant waves crashing in the distance. Hardly groundbreaking but it works very well especially with the calmer lighting and definitely reminds me of the seaside.

You may have noticed a few minor changes to the layout where I've gone around adding cover and generally moving and adding bits and pieces to help improve the flow in some areas. There's not really much to say about the changes as I think playtesting will decide whether the changes are good or bad.
Anyhoo, I hope you like the new changes. I've still got to add a 3D skybox, finish detailing some of the buildings, add blocklights behind those damn displacements, and model a staircase for the lighthouse!

I completely agree with what Taylor said. There seems to be this general idea that mods have to be of the same quality as a game developed by a professional studio in order to be successful or for it to be worth a download.

90 is bad? Jesus. You should get your friend to play Battlefield Bad Company. I couldn't stand the FOV on that. It must of been set to 60 or something ridiculous like that.

This is surely the best story this year.
