Amazing.
Seriously amazing. Binaural recording sounds kinda creepy, and it is, sort of. However... does someone know whether this is possible to do in games or not?

What's going on, I can't open the images in a seperate tab

The platform looks kinda weird compared to the cannon. It would also fit in any other generic more or less sci-fi-like scene, which, for my opinion, doesn't go well with the steampunk style you're going (it is steampunk, right?
) Needs more corrosion - and blue~~~~ (might also be the specular) Pure gold nonetheless

I aggree the controls really need some work. Still a respectable first release, hopefully migrating to Orange box and implementing joypad support improves the controls.
Omg, that would be awesome
I need a new joypad though - my Logitech broke after like 1 month of playing Tony Hawk

So... I've playtested it a bit... and... it looks good. It looks good. The controls aren't. The input lag doesn't. The general lag doesn't. It feels like there has to be done a lot coding and reworking. As for the controls, they're horrible (imho). It's like you're pressing a key for a tenth part of a second and your vehicle keeps driving for like 10 meters. To this adds a slight input lag (even on a local server!). Bad Controls + Lag + Lag when playing online = [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif] I'm sorry. I really looked forward to this mod. It looks totally awesome - it's like a dream come true. Did you notice the adverb? Like? (I know it's not an adverb, but people tend to use it like one) I can't play a game like that. It's really a pity though

I saw a video of the cryengine where you could create a random basic landscape (a simple displacement like an island or a mountain) by the click of one button, you could also adjust the size and height of the landscape etc...
CryEngine 2 uses heightmaps for terrain geometry - as for the function you mentioned, it might be some advanced noise stuff
That's completely not the thing Defrag is doing or what's even within the possible spectrum, as we're talking about the Source engine here. -
*generic looking comment that's actually supposed to disguise the fact that the video above is old and completely boring*

War is not entertaining anyways.
Thank you.

I personally think that this map's awesome. I had the opportunity to play test it, and it's pretty solid in my opinion. Though some areas could have received a bit more dirt, the map is very nice to look at. Overall a Valve-quality map, if not better
