Etherlords (played the first one) is actually just Magic: The Gathering in form of a video game... just much harder and with generic mana points (ether, kthxbai) instead of landscapes, but that's basically it. You can just as well post a picture of Magic ![]()
I'll just do it for you. ![]()

Theoretically, if you made a movie out of Warcraft 1/2/3, it might be slightly interesting, however making up a random story inside a MMO universe doesn't really have the same spice imho
I don't really care about video game films anyway, same with video games for films. Whatever they come up with I take it for granted that it won't be anything compelling.
EDIT: I should play WC2 again though ![]()
QuoteI have never heard of any of that lot, recommended?
Well, if you're interested in some Bulgarian Metal, be aware that you'll hardly find stuff like that anywhere, it's even kinda hard to find in Bulgarian shops, let alone in online shops. If you're into Emperor-style Black Metal, then Inspell is perfectly suited for you. Check out their MySpace page, their stuff is mindblowing. If you're looking for something Korpiklaani or Ensiferum like, then Balkandji might be something for you (check their myspace as well). Their older stuff is more comedic and less innovative and epic I'd guess, while their newer stuff is musically more interesting, with lyrics resolving around fantasy stories of spirits and the like. In the Death/Thrash scene, Symbolic and Cupola are more or less known names, however, I don't know whether they have released any full-fledged albums yet. Mystica on the other hand sounds a bit like a heavier variant of Dream Theater, still interesting though.

Awesome story, good graphics at the time, awesome gameplay, although very dull and boring free-roaming elements. *shrugs*

Best Heroes of Might and Magic game imho (haven't played HOMM 5 yet), even though everyone says it's crap. It has the best monster balancing and the best magics system in my opinion.

Some Wheel of Time goodness. Pity that they don't have the whole 5th book as one big hardcover in German. I'll have to buy three pocket books (which is more expensive) and I don't feel like switching from German to English...
Quote from SteppenwolfHe was more impressive as a dancer then as a musician imo.
QuoteIt's funny how peoples perception of MJ has changed now that he is dead. Don't tell me you guys were MJ fans all the fucking time
One week ago nobody here would have bothered to defend him and his music. When he said he would give 50 concerts in london everybody was laughing and the media was making fun of him. Now he is dead and the media is trying to make the next Elvis out of him. You know why? Because it sells. It's just a hype. Don't believe it.
My 2 cents: Overrated artist - well, celebrities are overrated anyway -, pathetic and miserable person, a guy with a horrible childhood, just another human soul. He will be missed just as any other. I don't know, the whole Neverland ranch thing, the whole pedophile thing, the whole thing with being obsessed to look like princess Diana, his mediocre pop music....
Soo, I googled like a mad man and asked in a few places (like ##windows @ Freenode, but guess what, there's hardly a living Windows support community -.-), all of that without any success, so I decided to ask in here, too. I came back from a camp last friday, finding my computer, or rather my Windows installation, in an unusable state: Windows starts up without problems, but once it should display the login screen (respectively the desktop), I only get a black screen and no response whatsoever. However, I can run Windows in VGA mode (F8) without a hassle (except for it being really slow), or even uninstall the NVIDIA drivers. In the beginning, I tried to repair my Windows installation with my installation CD, which didn't solve the issues. Then installed Windows again. After using the NVIDIA drivers again, I had the same problems. Tried the NGO Optimized NVIDIA Drivers which somebody on a forum, stating that he had the same issues as me, gave the link to. I've checked inside my machine whether the graphics card is still inside the slot, whether the additional cable is still okay, whether my RAM is correctly in the slot, etc. - Nothing.
I don't think it's my graphics card though, since everything works fine under Linux, even 3D-acceleration and what not.
The version of the drivers shouldn't be the problem either, since I started experiencing those problems after I came back from camp, I didn't do anything with my computer before that.

I still have my Logitech MX1000, best mouse ever (dunno if it's still sold). Apart from the fact that it's wireless (which is cool) and that the battery's kinda fubar after 2-3 years (which is not so cool). It has a perfect shape for my hand, enough weight so it doesn't land on the other side of my room when I move it and it's accurate.

This better be good since it's not Valve's style to release a sequel this early. If it happens to be just a silly rip off, eg. even less content than the first one, then you can count me out.
