i suppose the game doesn't stop you from having some bad luck and ending up in a vicious cycle like that... I mean at one point things looked really bleak for me but I managed to pull through eventually (senior squadmembers died, 3 council members pulled out etc). But I mean, isn't it nice? A game where things can actually turn to shit?

I agree with Erratic, it's possible that minor changes are randomized, like the odd car placement or so (similar to l4d).

Execution is overrated imho. Just write lots and lots of theorycrafted design docs.

Even though there are a lot of good games for sale, I already have the ones I want! This might be the first sale where I get nothing.

I also remember feeling ill... same thing when I tried Medal of Honor.

I'm actually more of an infantry guy, so I dislike when maps are purely vehicle-focused. Maps like Kharg Island are great though as they blend everything together in a fun way.

Also, pure infantry vs infantry combat is damn tight. Essentially the best mp shopter right now in that regard.

From the look of it, the design does seem flawed. There's simply too much going on.

Solid de_ layouts are one of the hardest things to design...

Started playing this again and now I remember why I love it! It helps that the last few games have gone pretty well.
