Judging from the demo, I somehow doubt this will be the case, unless you're the kind of person who got tired of eviscerating minotaurs and gorgons halfway through God of War.

I'm a PC gamer so I wouldn't know

Thing is, I just think the melee combat lacked some finesse, like that found in for example Arkham Asylum. At most times I was just spamming my way through the fights and the game didn't really punish me for it...

I'm just suspecting that thing will get repetitive in this particular game. Different games show different levels of promise in their demos/previews and whilst the game seemed fun, I'm just wondering how long it'll last.

It was fun to hop around and slash things for the duration of the demo (especially in the jump pack).
I don't think it can be stretched out to a full game though. But I may be wrong.

Hey MapCore,
So I'm finally getting some vacation time the next two weeks. I thought it would be a good time to finally get down and dirty with modelling since my previous attempts have been smothered by overtime at work (there's been a LOT of that lately). I was planning on focusing on Maya as it appears to be somewhat of an industry standard.
Now, I'm humbly requesting tips on good tutorials/walkthroughs/traning-vids for a person who's starting from scratch! I'm very much aware that tutorials pretty much come in unlimited quantities, and that's part of the reason I'm asking; I'm wondering if there are any hidden gems in this, well, jungle! What does MapCore say?

Hmmm. How do you guys feel about for example, them making a sequel to Deus Ex? Do you think making sequels to those great, iconic games is any different to making sequels to great, iconic films? I'm genuinely interested in what you guys think on the matter. Generally it's more accepted to make a game sequel years later, but not with films. I wonder why that is!
Well, the key is that games have gameplay. You can play them for hours on end and if the game is good, you're always eager for more content. It's easy to add a map to a game too, for example.
Films are all about the beginning-middle-end narrative. It's a highly condensed, polished two-hour-or-so long visual experience. The story progresses. The story wraps up. It's much harder to expand upon and therefore a more delicate subject.

Very dramatic approach!

Just needs some polishing and it could be really sexy.
