D3ads, lol.
Speaking of a North Korean Invasion of the US; judging from the background trailers of Homefront, they've actually done an okay job of making it somewhat plausible (unlike Red Dawn). What you mainly need in such a storyline is a shift in global politics where the US gradually loses it's former glory and position of power (primarily through economic problems; the economy is everything), and of course that the opposite happens in North Korea. It's still a bit of a fantasy though, but hey, it's always fun with "what-if"s.
I haven't played the game but my primary questionmark is; where the fuck is Europe?
In any case, I'm actually looking forward to seeing the Crytek take on the IP. Things could go very right. -

sittin here like a fuckin junkie... need my goddamn bf-fix

Pleh... killing floor lasted a couple of hours and after that it's just a snooze imo

After finding a good defensive position, firing away at the slowly moving horde becomes a chore. It painfully lacks the interesting special infected mechanics and the need for movement found in the L4D-series...
Personally, I've been playing through Portal 2 again with commentary. I can't stop laughing at all the lines
Truly great characters in that game! -
He's right you know. There's no dolphindiving.

Quote from Joystiq
Firefights in the beta prioritize reflexes over tactics, which is a departure from Bad Company 2.This is not the case with Battlefield 3 as it is now. The version of Battlefield 3 that I spent hours playing last week has weapons and damage that feel like Battlefield Bad Company 2. This, if you aren't sure, is a good thing.
Oh thank God.

I would dare to say that it went downhill after the first episode

Seems like a niche service. He could try approaching individual creators and ask permission to use their scenes as lighting practice? Just an idea.

Yup, the finale was great
As always, Breaking Bad goes the extra mile. Can't say the same about Walking Dead
The latter is entertaining enough though. -
I mean, it doesn't look bad. Some brainless shooting and explosions can always be entertaining.
But... the game's MP looks like crap and the plot will be totally nonsensical unless it ignores what happens in MW2. Too nonsensical that is.

That's... hot as hell! Gimme!

I started fraps, went to a certain location on caspian and got 44 fps with Ultra Settings and 43 fps with Low settings.
The fuck?

Beta ends tomorrow. I'll wait until release and see what they've done with the final version.... I'm not super-hyped anymore. Seems a bit unpolished atm but I'm hoping for the best.

Yup, using the right drivers seem pretty important when it comes BF3. Also, it appears that Nvidia users are enjoying slightly better framerates.
Jake Gilla: nope, I can doublecheck later but it defintely does not feel like it. On caspian border that is. On Metro the game is a lot smoother on my machine.

Me too baby.. I please all the ladies with it.

lol
Quote from BungloSo caspian border is pretty flippin awesome. No lag for me, plays smooth on highest settings, pre-order is inevitable.
got a pretty nice rig, eh? the lag I've been experiencing is server-side but the framerate isn't too great either on that map... though I'm pretty picky and need my 60+ fps...
I got an Intel 2600k, AMD 6970 and 8 gig ram and, I haven't checked this for sure, but it feels like 25-40fps on Medium when you're in the middle of caspian. Operation Metro ran just fine on Ultra.

For me and my friends, all 64-player Caspian Border servers lag completely and utterly you see
