Somehow Sentura, I believe that if you ever make your own game....
Yeah, it's that bad.
And I did not like the look of this at all...
Even for that kind of a project, it sounds like you are planning on doing an awful lot of planning? Campaignjunkie has got some good ideas anyhow!
I'm curious; are you planning the game itself, your work or for a team?
What are you planning? Life? Work? School? Game? Mod? Map?
Please, by all means, continue discussing shitty english towns in every damn thread. ![]()
Who else is in the beta? ![]()
Played it yesterday. Lots of fun, but still couldn't get very good performance. Maybe I'm just so used to the NS1-smoothness... ![]()
Quote from RaVaGewhen you are really lowlife and you are out of rocket, the only one possibility is to die
Quote from RaVaGeI escaped the place with a really low life, and just after you must fight the combine at the gas station, and then same thing, you die, you die, you die, you die, you die...
Quote from RaVaGeyou will be instantly killed because you are always lowlife.

Just started playing this and well, skiing and jetpacks is still fun as hell! ![]()
I don't quite like the class system though. I preferred Tribes 2 when it comes to that (you were free to create your own class, you just selected armour type etc).
Anyone else playing? ![]()
Good film, but it's definitely the weakest link in the trilogy. I found that the main plot was confusing and
Quotethe plot twist
was cheap and wasn't handled very well. There was not much elegance in the way the story unfolded really.
Despite this, the film was entertaining and certainly kept me interested. Really liked how Bane and Selina Kyle was portrayed.
i want to devour it
Yeah, huge congrats guys! ![]()
Just watched 15 hours of live Starcraft 2 here in Stockholm! ![]()

After a lot of test-listens and soulsearching I bought a pair of Yamaha HS50M monitors along with an external soundcard. I'm currently investigating if I need the woofer as well or if the monitors deliver enough bass for my needs. The current answer is; no. Some songs just needs that extra oomph. So it's very likely that a HS-10W woofer will find it's way to my setup...

Quote from SpronyvanJohnsonReally great advice Puddy. Been putting into practice right away. Expect some of the weapons you listed aren't stock weapons. I need a shitload of point to unlock these
Well, I think I'm remembering correctly.
There's an unlock later on that allows you to use the other team's standard weapons without restriction (so that when you're US you can use AK74M and when you're RU you can use M16A3 etc). That's probably the restriction you've encountered.
you can't go wrong with that... just do as rick does Sprony!
he did make the game's coffee after all.
First of all, all starting weapons are actually among the best weapons in the game (m16/ak74m, aks74u/m4a1, m27iar/rpk, svd/mk10). What you want is to unlock attachments to these weapons. You'll want a Kobra or Red dot sight to acquire targets more easily. Then you'll want a heavy barrel equipped 9 times out 10. In CQB-maps, you may want a grip as well. This goes for all weapons except sniper rifles (you can keep them pretty much vanilla).
The key to kicking ass is to 1. use your weapon effectively (fire in short bursts, learn how the weapon handles, reload at the right moments, use the right attachments etc) and 2. to traverse the battlefield in a smart way which means moving cover-to-cover, avoiding open areas, iron-sighting pre-emptively, trying to meet the enemy where they are at a disadvantage and always anticipating from where the enemy is likely to come at you.
That's a few pointers anyway.
Keep in mind that you are pretty late to the party, so that's going to be a handicap. GLHF!
