I think vigilante justice is the only thing that can stop all this sort of shit.

Fight violence with even more violence!

    1) be careful what you ask for, or even joke about.

    2) you have to admit it, the shot the kid takes at the end just makes you want to shout "OWNED!"

You know what, you're right - we should let the police beat the shit out of criminals instead.

I think the guy who punched the kid should get a medal. honestly, we need more citizens like that raoming the streets. We need people to 'mug the muggers' so to speak.

I was thinking of having spotlights shine on the wall that is on the far right of the screen... The lights wil be on the ground shining at the top of the wall - I think that'd be neat with the train going by and everything (yes, there will be a train running past the platform).

I'll try soem things out and get back to you guys tomarrow.

2-2 Eng-Swe. I think Sweden was a bit better but thats hard to say of course. If you ask CrazyMac he probably says the opposit. England wins their group, but Sweden advance at least. Good game, Sweden had lots of cloose calls. I think somewhere around 11 corners.

I'll be sure and watch the highlights.

Is the lighting any better? I'm sort of hit or miss on that subject - but once I get something that looks good I sure can run with it

Personally, I think the lighting - so far, is an improvement over what I had - but I'm interested in what you guys think.

In other news, koko gave me the pimp monkey to proudly display as an avatar.

Thanks for the tip guys - I'll post an updated shot once I get some significant progress. I'll add in plenty of gritty detail. So far, I've shrunk the platform and added brush based railings and whatnot to the stairs.

I haven't been working long - but this is a map I am making so I can learn to control NPC characters. It's suposed to be a subway station - that happens to be based off of a real location known as 'woodhaven' in new york. (which you will see below)

    the map:

    [Blocked Image: http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/9725/spsubvia00008tu.jpg]

    the real location:

    [Blocked Image: http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/6941/woodhavenopen3oy.jpg]

My questions are: How can I make mine look more like the real thing - and how can I make mine better in general? I have not added any fine detail yet - so aobviously the ligting isn't final either - but tips are, and will be apprechiated.

the 2-0 wasn't deserved. Australia was playing way better for the most part of the game :/

That was to me, the most suprising part of the entire game. It certainly took my mum off guard.

If it's ok for England to win on an own-goal ... then I'm sure it's ok for us to tie on one.

I hope we can go out with a bang... we certainly started this game with one.

Half time of the USA - Italy match. We here in America have a saying which I find appropriate here: KILL THE REFS!!!!

The game just ended in a tie at 1-1. I have to agree with you about the ref - he was making terrible calls both ways. 3 red cards in a single game! The State's were down two men and Italy was down one man - and we still managed to get a tie.

I have to say the US team played a better game this time, they started off very quickly and they stayed with it. The seemed to really slow down at the end - but I imagine being down two players has some influence upon that. It was a good match, I just wish that ref would get hit by a bus. He was calling EVERYTHING in the first half, and absolutely NOTHING in the 2nd. What's that about?

The USA will play Ghana next.
