Milliarden is the term for billion in german and polish (every non-english speaking country?). Kind of crazy they got to that amount of sales in such a short time - seems to strengthen the Ad-driven campaigns the big publishers run at the moment.

The language barrier is probably really the biggest hurdle and one of the reasons it's always a good idea to learn new languages as fast as possible. Especially when we're coming back to the original question about Canada - Quebec (Montreal) at least requires basic knowledge of french.

What is Bioware Victory? And how does Bioware's proven trackrecord translate to them if they are just a new studio with the same name? Frostbite 2 for an RTS sounds nice though

Seriously, Origin: Biggest pile of shit ever.
got a copy from work today. I'm currently trying to install the game, but so far, I didn't even see a Battlefield Splashscreen. It started by installing Origin, then directly downloading an update, going back to what looked exactly like the first installation (instead of a nice in-Software update like Steam). Bit confusing but - OK, well it doesn't hurt. Now. Trying to create an account. Three times connection timeout when trying to even reach the first form of creating an account. Then. Check if my username is still available. Time out 5 times. Then Username finally granted. Trying to finsih this. Create account: Time out. Third time now in a row.
FFS EA! I do understand when a software has starting issues. But Origin has been out for weeks now, fix your shit or let me play on Steam
I'm back to playing DotA 2 until I have more time to beta-test for EA. -

Given Valve's Trackrecord, I'm confident that they will increase the quality on this significantly. I wasn't excited for DotA 2 at all when I first saw it. But they polished it so far that now it really feels like one of the best games out there and it's even still in Beta. I guess CS:Go will get some love treatment next year before it goes open beta and hopefully will be awsome then.

Maybe it would be helpful if you estimate roughly how much the core costs per year and we can donate annually, otherwise you get swamped with money now and in two or three years the war chest is empty again and no one knows what is goin on.
