it's still an awesome game and vanilla has quite a few servers. I like the idea of alternative weapons, but yeah, it is confusing then you join a match and everyone has new weapons you never heard of.

i might be there. are you going to GC on wednesday as well?

well it's 21:45 in ukraine, in germany it's 20:45 and in uk it's 19:45 (or 9, 8 and 7 pm). there's another slot at 7pm (ukrainian time, 5pm uk time) which is why they play so late. if you'd show any matches before that, all of europe would still be in their offices working.

Go to the University in Dublin, see the Library and the Book of Kelts.

i often look at depth of field solutions and other screenspace effects and go "oh gosh, they fucked up big time on this shader"... and I get very suspicious about all lights used in a game "THERE MUST BE SOMETHING HIDDEN BEHIND THIS DOOR, IT HAS A LIGHT ON TOP!"...

congrats to you!

They both had some amazing shots and ideas, kind of weird that the UKR players kept lying on the grass so often. I think they are going to be in the quarter finals (as well as France in that group). Good for them, bad for their political situation maybe

Quote from Minos
Why not just turn into a self publisher and sell their games digitally for cheaper for example? I wonder why no big companies have done that yet. Minecraft is a great example of a successful game sold this way - you get the money straight from consumers, no 3rd party involved to bite a sum of the money, which means that $20 bucks sold on your "own platform" is probably worth more than $60 bucks sold on a retail store. But I could be wrong, this is just my opinion and I'm no games industry analyst...
Isnt that exactly what Valve is doing? Defo agree with you though.

yeah video judgment would take away from the authority of the ref and would also slow down the game, because everyone would start arguing over every decision not video backed.
The referee does a good job most of the time and if he misses something on one side, chances are good he's missing something on the other side.
germany v portugal was one hell of a nerve wrecker. actually the referee gave the german team a free-kick when they already scored and the goal became invalid instead - the entire pub I was in went :ssj: portugal did a pretty good game though overall, judging from the Ned-Den match, I'd say it's gonna be germany and portugal at the quarter finals.

Disney has a history of "porting" fairytales, but it's not the first time that they went with something more contemporary. Bolt, Dionsaurs, Lilo & Stitch and a couple more movies were done by Disney before which didn't have Fairytale backgrounds.
I see your point, but keep in mind that Disney Animation Studios is not Disney Corp.. Disney is the head company and similar to Fox and other Networks in the US it's a Publisher for multiple studios. Disney Animation and Pixar are probably as close to each other as Dice and Respawn, both owned and published by EA but completely different technology and franchises. And both big enough within the Network structure to chose and create their own IPs, rather than being used as "of the mill"-studios.

Because its a Disney movie, not Pixar. Two different studios.
