Looks like fun, but that is probably the worst writing and voice acting I've ever seen in my life.
Muahhahaha!

Its definately scripted using the engine but with the Source after effects. But I dont see what the problem with that is, or why there is even a bit of an argument going on about it.
It's pretty cool nevertheless. ![]()
edit: People are saying that this is cgi, "what Valve does best".
I find that funny since Valve is one the few developers that doesn't use cgi for either cutscenes or promotion.
It's really only usefull for Google Earth stuff me thinks.
I like the shiny plasti weapon and turrets ![]()
Hmm after a gravity gun and a portal gun what else could you do? :0
Well if you ever come back Postman you might want to sue this guy:

Prey has a nice visual effect with portals, but other than that they are pretty much functionally the same as the ones in Quake 3.

What the Narbacular Drop guys and Valve have done is create a whole new type of game around portals. Calling Portal, Hl2:Prey is pretty dumb to be honest.
edit: and oh ya, PORTAL LOOKS TOTALLY FUCKING AWESOME!!!
Hmm, with all that new stuff defrag you'll probably scare away some TFC grognards. They do sound like a lot of fun tho ![]()
And are the original creators of TF still working at valve, and if they do what hand do they have in this iteration of TF2?
Heh, with sniper shots that make you explode into gibs and conc jumping and all that this style makes way more sense than that old constipated look. ![]()
They should be a bit above the ground. Not sure what the accepted norm in grid units is if there is one :\
Hmm, I'm afraid you might be right. Pretty disapointing then. ![]()
I hope they include the promised RTS features! ![]()
New art style huh? ![]()
And why is it included with ep2? ![]()
Theres nothing really special or interesting about this mmorpg. Its alot like that camelot one and asherons call or whatever. Really nothing that sets it apart from the pack.
Could you possibly have some extra content, such as the case studies Fletch mentioned, on a disc? That might increase it's appeal for little extra cost. I'm fairly certain that CD's are cheaper to produce than print. But then again that has drawbacks as well I guess :\
