i think i used an earlier version of this during my play-through ... because some textures looked totally awesome highres and 3d and shit and other were just awful

looks great dont even bother making diffuse textures keep it CLEAN !

i cant help but feel that between the lines carmeck wants to tell us mega textures were a horrible idea they are a complete clusterfuck workflow and data wise and no game artist is gonna get used to this method so recruiting people to work with this is pretty much impossible ! so it wont have a future !
