Play games, lots of games. Good games, bad games. Rent them, do whatever it takes to get them, play them.

When Crytek bought FRD, they moved us into a brand new open plan office in the city centre, rather than a bunch of buildings out in the middle of nowhere with the M1 for company.

but free rad now is not what it once was, shit the free rad that worked on second sight weren't the guys who did time splitters.
This is what many people fail to realise, the team that did Second Sight by and large had no hand in TS3, neither of those teams had much to do with Haze. At its peak there were three full dev teams of staff at FRD working on at least three AAA titles.
When I joined Crytek UK, I was one of the first new, non ex-FRD people to join. I'd say a good 85%+ of the staff here worked at FRD and come from a myriad of the FRD projects and Rare projects. It's not like its going to be Haze 2.0 by the Haze team, because that was the last SP title the former studio shipped.

For the sake of clairty and to stop the rampaging neogaf hordes who patrol the internets, I do know what Timesplitters is and love it.

What is Timesplitters?

I use godaddy and they accept many methods of payment, inc paypal. No problems with them in over 4 years, any queries answered in a few hours max via email or within minutes by (local) phone number.

I bought a maaaaasive IKEA L shaped desk about 6 years ago, still going strong. It's been through 4 house moves in that time and each one I've taken a circular saw to it and cut it down to fit the existing space.
It's currently about 2.5m x 1.5m and still roomy, although the leg placement is a little odd these days

See HP's post for actual console screengrabs...

Infact, I think that shot may have been done in a dodgy build (sans ground vegetation) as you can clearly see in other shots there is plenty of foliage around the preceding area., but don't quote me on that.
-

Is it biased when you're one of the only few on the forum that has actually seen it outside of a compressed video?

-
zomg, some foliage is missing. Seriously, on the whole it looks a lot better than most people played the original at, a lot better in places and imo, gameplay wise is much better. If thats the worst people are moaning about, job done

Edit: I don't remember that bit in the trailer looking like that anyway, it was done a fair while before the final build. There will be a lot more info coming in the next few days/weeks.

You can definitly animate solids in Trackview, not sure about changing materials via Flowgraph. I think that may have to be converted to a brush, which in a basic form is a one click solution.

":326bnp43]You can always use the Asset Browser, it's pretty neat but last I tried it still doesnt allow you to drag and drop assets into the scene.
I think you can now, certainly sure I can at work unless its a custom fix we've added locally.
