Then make a game that nobody would ever want to get rid of or hand back in ![]()
The fan on my 4200 died and I blu-tacked a spare CPU fan onto it to keep it running.
Nintendo going from the underdogs to top dog.
Quote from JonMYo, I am planning a trip london by myself this summer and i know some mapcorians are from the UK and I was wondering besides the obvious tourist attractions what are some places and things I should check out while I am there, like night life etc?And also, I reckon that many europeans dont take to kindly to us american folk, so like I have seriously heard that when you go to europe you should say your from canada.. is that really true? maybe less true for london?
I dunno I am really exicted about it, so if you guys know of anything good in london let me know thanks
Firstly, London is very expensive to go out at night in.
Secondly, yes, say you are Canadian.
Lastly, best thing about London is the road out.

My first ever 3D animation, did it for my degree course. Basically just getting to learn animation priniciples and practices and apply it. Used Cinema4D for it.

I AM TUROK!!!!
I don't care about the graphics, Gamecube graphics were pretty damn good. Having x amount of processors doesnt make a game better.
I don't like this episodic content style at all. I'll be paying whatever it works out to be with tax, £12 or something and I bought HL2 brand new for like £20.
I'll just read reviews of it and maybe pick it up if it gets cheap.
I chose my degree on the basis that it didn't narrow down my options (like a Games Design degree would) so I'm doing BA Hons Multimedia Design & Digital Animation which is a good degree. We go from basic low poly models in Cinema4D to high poly models in XSI (taught by Roger Rosa, if you know a bit about XSI you may have heard of him, maybe not) as well as 2D web design, interactivity programs and games and promo CD's for companys.
The modelling and animation side is quite good, we have a section that concrentrates on getting things realistic first (scratches, dirt etc), then the next makes its realistic and optimised for low and high poly envrionments. Then you do scenes etc.
Now we've started animations, the first stage was just to animate it, the next one was to make the animation have emotion and the last one is to make it animate, have emotion and be pretty.
It goes through it all nicely explaining everything and at the end of it I have plenty of paths to go down, film, broadcasting, music, games etc.
Odd choice, then again I didn't like GameCube when it was announced.
Yeah, I've helped him with some bits of it. Its a nifty book. Very helpful.
Not bothered about the games industry really.
I wouldn't mind if Gmod actually had staying power, but it doesnt. You join a laggy server, goof around for 10 mins then go "lol" and close it.
Not sure if I'd want to work in the Games industry, certainly wouldnt want to work at Valve. Have my personal reasons for that.
Ubisoft always seemed good, Bullfrog back in the day.
