Its even more amazing when you consider they did this in 7 months, whilst doing the other 3 modules required for Year 3 and their dissertations

This is made by 2 guys in the year above me for their Final Year Degree Project.
Amazing to see it all finished after sitting in labs with them doing it and helping, the making of bit is fun to see how they put it all together.
Now I have to do this level of work for next year.

I think I may just get a D40 or D40X. The D40 + 18-55 is currently £280 after rebate.
The D50 is all but gone, I had a good look round town and online and they are pretty much all gone or overpriced now. The D80 is perhaps just a notch too far in cost. Can get a D40 + 18-55 and 55-200 for half the price of a D80 and 18-135mm.

I actually got into 2 servers today.
Then had a connection failed as soon as I ran more than 5 or so steps.

Still cant get into any servers online, or on the 1/100 chance I do I get a Connection Failed error within about 10s.

Oh a pickle indeed.
Personally I love Nikons, however for my first DSLR I am a bit...stuck.
I did originally intend to get a D50 but they are now hard to find, the D40 is good but the lack of internal AF motor will be a pain later on. So the D80 was the next choice and I've used them a lot and I like them.
However....
D80 + 18-135mm standard kit lens = ~£700
Canon 400D + Canon 18-55 + Tamron 55-200mm + Centon Backpack = £600
I do love Nikons but is there a compelling reason to spend the £300 more on it? I'm not so sure anymore.

Exhaust is a bit off and cant find any decent large pics of the suspension setup and engine area.

I've still not been able to join any servers online, just freezes in map loading screen on Sending Client Info.
Mustve tried 20-30 times. All other source games work fine as does BF2 so not a PC/Firewall issue.

Still have only got in one server once out of about 20-30 attempts. The server promptly then crashed/dissapeared.

Crashed/froze twice whilst connecting to server, shall try again later.

Ok, so Jeremy now said its today...promised. But today Eastern.
Makes sense as I can't see it being done in the next 45mins so thats basically June 1st, but only for America.
