Whats the best way to go about this?
I think in the near future I'd best start to learn the UE engine, but:
Our Uni course was going to go there, then they told us it would cost us £650+ each to get there, go round it, stay for 5 days and come back.
Have a look at some of the big racetracks around the world, especially the F1 tracks.
What would be awesome would be a racetrack which includes all the best corners from the best racetracks in the world. Infact a rich guy has done that, but cant remember the name of his track, was in the last episode of Top Gear, its in spain somewhere:

It looks good but....thats the problem. It's just "good" not excellent, after all I've already played this game and I know what happens along the way, who the characters are and what they do so I'll be needing something more than average graphics (by modern game standards) to want to play through it all again.
I wish they had put their creative talent into something other than a straight remake.

TF maps of any game (TF, TF2, FF, TF2) always tend to crop up with entity related problems as they simply have so much going on entity wise.
32 players + projectiles + grenades + explosion fx + map entities.
Then again if theres a lot of custom high detail content on top it doesnt help either.

Most surprisingly and randomly, my boss gave me a days wage and a £20 note with 3 bottles of ale, virtually £80. Something must be afoot in business land.
21st birthday in under 2 weeks and I can't think of a single thing I want. I think my gf's parents have got me one of those Rally Car driving days, or perhaps the Aston/Ferrari/Porsche/Lamborghini Day one. Its something along those lines though. Looks like its one of those "just give me cash" birthdays.

Went to Beaulieu National Motor Museum the other day with the woman and took a few snaps on my D40 with the 18-55 and 55-200VR and she brought along her D80 and 18-135. Much fun was had, despite the fact it was -1c all day and a strong wind. Due to the extortionate ticket price that included the whole of Beaulieu estate, we thought we'd best get our moneys worth and go to the Palace and Abbey too.

Never mind, I think I fixed it.
Forgot to build cubemaps with HDR turned off as well. Can lock/delete this or leave it here for reference or whatever.
This is weird.
I compile my level, the cubemaps are all bright white as I havnt run buildcubemaps yet. So I do, reload the map and its still shiny white everywhere.
I put sv_cheats 1 on, buildcubemaps, change level, change level back. Still shiny.
I try closing the game, reloading game and map, still shiny white.
I'm doing this in Ham and Jam, SourceSDK has the -ep1 thing added and the .bsp size has increased after buildcubemaps has been run, what the funk is happening.
Not getting anything here.
Weakest review he's done, no real points beyond stuff he can't do stopping him in the game.
He didn't even mention the worst bit about GH3 is the completely random annoying Boss battles, now those break the game.
You guys just need stronger stomachs, 2girls1cup is highly overrated.
2007 was a good year, passed the first 2 years of my degree, found an amazing gf and did some epic challenges (Three Peaks) and climbing to boot.
2008 hopefully finish my degree and get at least a 2:2 in it, preferably a 2:1. Keep the gf and get my climbing up a few notches, currently top-rope 6a+ and lead 6a so lets aim for TR 7a and lead 6c. Want to get in some decent outdoor stuff over 200-300m too, current highest one Ive done is 105m so feel like topping that.
