Where's Chris Morris when you need him? A BrassEye video games special would've been epic.

    Indeed lol

I always played outside by my own when I was younger, no kids my same age in the immediate area, or it would be me and a few friends. We definatly didn't get stabbed/kidnaped/mugged/murdered/raped .

i think i cant add to the given feedback but to say that it's very valueable.

I agree. The only thing I'd add is we've been hammered at Uni to get proper email address'. [email protected] is the bare minimum, if you can get a proper doman and have [email protected] is even better. The name you choose in your email contact can often reveal a lot about yourself.

Edit: Also how old are you? The only education you have listed down there is GCSE's so I assume you are at least 16. No A-Levels/Diplomas/Degree? Most place's wont hire unless you are at least 18 and GCSE's don't really cut it anymore for jobs.

The Phillips logo still screams out as placed advertising, they show the old logo, then have 6ft tall PHILLIPS slapped up there which isnt in the original photos.

    So much for historical accuracy....

Its all automated these days, humans have very little input to cock things up. Chernobyl was a flawed reactor design with human incompetance controlling it, Three Mile island was mechanical flaws overlooked and ignored by humans. Lessons have been learned and things like this are a rareity. The weakpoint in systems like these are the humans in charge and especially these days the humans have been taken out of the process and the stations are run by computers which do not have hesitations and know what is the right course of action instantly.

I'm not saying Nuclear is 100% safe, it isnt but its by far the best interim option before we get to renewable energy.

I think some people still see Nuclear power stations as a huge idle nuclear bomb, which they're not. Same basic reaction, wildly different timescale of operation. Nuclear reactors have been around for approximatly 13,000 "reactor" years and we've had 2 significant reactions. Only Chernobyl really released anything dangerous, theres been plenty of other minor meltdowns but none have ever effected anyone outside the plants. More people die a year from coming into contact with other radioactive sources (scrapped X-ray machines in third world countries etc) than by nuclear power plant irradiation.

    A good read:

    http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/inf06.html

Edit: The chart at the bottom illustrates the relative safety of Nuclear power over its last 40 years of operation

Nuclear has 32 immediate fatalities, mostly Chernobyl. Coal has 6400, Gas 1200 and Hydroelectricity 4000.

Something can always happen. Always. It doesn't matter if it's a meltdown like in Chernobyl or something else. People are going to pay for it. Nuclear reactors are a huge risk.

Nuclear reactors are pretty damn safe, the only time things have gone wrong (Chernobyl,3 Mile) has been due to human error. I've been inside a Nuclear reactor complex and its a pretty amazing place and the safety precautions they have are amazing.

Gah, stop making maps! Makes me want to map for TF2 even more but still cant find time due to Uni.

Only possibly the busiest 3 months of my life to go \o/

Looks good, but sort of clean and angular, probably the lack of the skybox thats doing it.

    DVD.

Don't have the cash for a HDTV, HD player or buying HD movies. Its still woefully expensive at the moment, hence the low pickup rate in Europe, something like 22% of houses in Europe have a HD capable device in their homes.

The colours are really vibrant, did you tweak them in PS or is that how your camera is taking them? If its the latter could be a problem unless you've got a preset colour mode like Vibrant on.

    Good pics none the less.

The stats will be skewed by all the oldschool die hards playing CS1.6 and TFC on their shitty PC's. I suppose laptops count towards that too as well.

Over here the petrol prices are between 101p and 108p a litre. The equivilant of over $8 a gallon

Making it so you don't need a CD/DVD in the drive when playing games would probably be a huge relief to most people. I almost always go find a crack to get around those things as its a pain in the arse.
