I just want to see a huge jelly cube with x number of ragdolls splattered out of it from a multiple rocket explosion. If everything picks speed up as it exits, it's gonna make for some stunning scenes.
Any idea if they've taken a similar stance than Halo 3 with a Garry Mod like feature? That'd be so sweet (for a while at least)

That slow mo has gotta be the coolest design in the game. And yeah the tactics in the game are going to be a dime a dozen, so many possibilities. Just kick ass (and it looks gorgeous)

Gotta wait for the next CAMP Pack Hessi, who knows what you could find there

Congrats Steppenwolf

-
Congrats Erratic, about damn time too...

Rayman Raving Rabbids. That was ported to the PC by our Budapest team.
Perhaps you could go as far as all the PopCap Games (on Steam or MSN). They can be multiplayer titles sometimes...

The trailer is good, now I want to see the game

After looking at all the pics, I deleted many of them simply since I couldn't see myself using them (as in making textures with them). If you guys have more architectural ref pics, then those would be even more appreciated by yours truly

Still, many thanks for sharing this

And I say thank you ! Ref pics of this quality can be hard to come by

This game doesnt look to heavy on the system, if you ran HL2, you'll run this one for sure!
Far from the truth really. DoD Source is far more comp intensive than Hl2, and TF2 will probably be more than DoDS....

I'm currently testing the Far Cry 2 engine here at Annecy, and yeah it's CE1 all over again. I was told they based it rather loosely on some previous CE1 build from the Far Cry era, and reworked it some more.
First experience with the engine, and I'm loving the terrain system. I'll be damned if my version is user friendly, but that's another thing altogether...

It's using Nomad, an in-house engine.

Defrag, you need to talk to some of the guys on the team here

Typical OMG VALVE SUCKKKSSSS !!!!1111!!!
Typical me: "yeah at least they get their features to work...."

Most publishers do. (with their big blockbusters that is)

the streetlight posts need more point_spotlight

I saw on Gamasutra yesterday that analysts predict the PS3 sales are going to pass the X360 ones with the announced price drop...
-
Sigh....
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME !!!!

It's mandatory, no matter how good your game is (and that's the same for any product). Especially in this day and age where video games has become a lot more mainstream than 10 years ago.
In this case, it was just a win win situation, and Microsoft has always been among the best in the world at marketing.
