Yeah, this ended up a chopped up mess. Don't waste money on tickets.

I have driven manual all my life. No cost difference for manual vs. basic auto in all 3 series (no, didn't get the M3 sadly.)
Thing about manual transmission in California is that there is very little inventory. I had to custom order mine...oddly I got a better deal on that vs. any manual 3-series I could find in my region that weren't quite right anyway.
Haha, which model year was the S40?

Didn't bother turning the settings back up after, didn't want to risk getting 1 fps again.
That is most likely a problem on your hardware side. Game ran solid 60fps though entire lenght for me.

Personally I don't care anymore, I'm not going to give facebook any more money. If vive turns out to be shit (which aparently isn't) i'd pick up Sony's PS VR instead. I'm still on the fence.
I've had CV1 (sold), kept Vive. So i'm speaking out of experience not my gaping arsehole.

If you do that, the sensors interpret your movement as leaning forward or backward, instead of actually moving in an space like it does on the Vive. I might be talking out of my ass here but at least that's the impression that I got.
I didn't try the CV1 but from what I know it's only an improvement over the DK2 right? Doesn't add anything new.
No, you're fully positionally tracked, so you can walk around within the tracking camera's FOV. Same as Vive but at smaller scale

I could care less about Football but i want Iceland to win the whole tournament, just to see those overrated, overpaid and over celebrated faces crying in despair.
-
@MinosDid you try CV1 or only DK2 though? I found standing up in CV1 just as good as VIVE with the exception of limited space. I like my vive more but ergonomics of CV1 are nicer (lighter, better straps).

Or maybe people just didn't like it?

Well, to be fair Quake 2 3 and 4 were quite drastically different than Quake 1. I don't mind some sort of evolution now, especially when a straight up remake of Q3 would sink the company.

ID is moving forward, not re-doing old games is a good sign!

Looks more like a Silent Hill game than a RE

Yes, the the point is that for 1080p you don't need the latest and greatest for excellent performance anymore.

The only real gripe I have with this game so far is the way the player dies. Bugged and clunky (with the obvious exception of the T2 nod :D)

Also got my Vive a week or so back, absolutely loving it!
ps. In contrast, the Rift CV1 I sold a week after i got it.
