Hrm looks *ok* I prefer the look of fortress forever. The hud itself makes me want to rip my eyes out. (yeah I am not a big fan of cartoony stuff in games).

That's hilarious you've guys yet to learn to atleast show the slighest amount of respect for a beginner's work.

That's what makes me so fucking bitter all the time, just ask Evert.

I think for a begginer it's some good shit going on there, just a bit more practice in making something that serves a purpose and your stuff will get better over time.

    Just don't give up!

You people earn so little its really weird and confusing. MY mother is earning £1200 a month, which is 1,775.21 and shes not even doing anything decent, she works by phoning people up and asking if they want to change their gas. Yeah, those annoying peeps.Hehe.

When you get a few years experience up your sleeve you earn more than €2000 a month, you just have to put with a lower wage at the start.

    Why shocking?

Are you shocked that no one sucked your dick with praise?

honestly, you could be less abrasive. i dont get why you have to insult people or give them a hard time; this is the second time i see you doing this.

Nice, you want a medal or something?

    Shocking!

    Why shocking?

I edited this as I seemed a little abrasive as some might say. I future I will try to be a bit more delicate to those people who still have feelings/souls :) :)

Damn 30k as a starting wage for entry level designer, yes please.

Starting at most places in the UK it ranges from £18-£20k for entry level designers, then goes up each year depending on the company and how much of a fat lazy bastard you are.

No idea, £30,000+ I think. I'm not sure.

Hah you gotta be kidding me, the last place I was at didn't pay that much, only the leads got that sort of wage.

Where do you work to get that pay?

Wow man, that's an awesome improvment in such a short time.

Keep it up man, a few more reviews and you'll be a good critique

Try and vary your games, and also try and do other FPS games that don't use the source engine, you'll get more experience in what is good and what isn't.

Yeah I agree with the Norway man, curves just don't go with these textures, and the textures repeat too much along with the geometry, kinda feels like "this is my first map".

Hrm not that awesome of a review.

It feels like copied and pasted comments from a forum, such as mapcore.

In your review you haven't mentioned anything about the flow of the map, or any gameplay related things it really saddens me that more and more people care about "brush work" than the gameplay, for all we know as readers, this could be the worlds most boring map ever known to man.

You need to write more about each area when doing a review like..

Gameplay, how is it structured, what makes the flow feel nice, are the weapon placements good, are the spawns in a good position etc etc.

Then you move onto the eyecandy, and you don't usually talk about a single metal trim on a staircase in the top part of the map.

You can also talk about the audio in the map if it exists, as this can play an important role, especially in a single player map - it can ad a lot of immersion.

If you're going over a single player map, you could also comment on how well the story is structured if it even exists

There are a few things you can think of when reviewing a map.

    Hope it helps!

Source is where the cool kids are.

Actually I always viewed as source is where all the bloom noobs are

But sure, we can go with the cool thing.
