Nice, I'd love to see more like that.

Going back for my final year of A-Levels coming Thursday and I'm not looking forward to it, I get sick of being there. Other than that I don't really do anything interesting other than modding and watching anime everyday. I don't ever go out unless it's for school or to the game store which I rarely ever do. I'm stuck in my room practically 24/7 otherwise, and I really need a job - preferably a twilight based one to still earn some cash daily (since I have school)

It looks a little "put together". Can't explain.Maybe it's the color variation and clear borders. Some dirt wouldn't hurt on the corners.

I know what you mean and I see it myself now that you mention it. I'll add a bit of dirt around where it meets the metal's edges and in the corners.

the original texture has more details than the reamkeGo and look close at the original and do some of the there painted details like the more broken up concrete or the splittered blaster or the inbeveled steel and so on.

Ha I guess they do. I've add a few cracks to it earlier but the split up plaster will have to wait a little while since I've got to see how I can approach it without looking fake. I was planning to cheat on the inbeveled steal by using a normal map.

Thanks for the comments, I'll get back to fixing them up.

Quakis, I'd recommend using another smoothing group on the inward part of the base. Whenever you have something like that it looks better to use a seperate group so it adds an edge to it, rather than awkwardly "rounding" it like it is now. Plus, put a skylight with shadows on for rendering - it looks much better . Otherwise it looks alright.

Cheers for the comment, I'll keep the render lighting in mind. However when it comes to smooth groups, I haven't seen an option in Blender to do this other than smoothing the selected faces. Probably looked over it, I'll see what I can do.

Two more textures to go with the previous posted one. They still needs some little extra work to get them a little close to the originals.

    These are based on two textures from Hostile Intent in the map hi_russia;

That texture with the white paint-like strokes, if they're not a temp texture then they really need aligned around the ceiling area, because it doesn't look too nice like that.

Is this a single or multiplayer map by the way?

Yes, vary that step texture horizontally so it doesn't repeat so much!

Another, some form of Bunker/Underground type of wall. Any crit or suggestions about the way I beveled this?

Still WIP, but I wondering if I've approached this correctly with the changes.

Picked up my Duke3D project again since I really want to finish it, tweaked about a lot of the current build and did some test lighting in some areas. The bar area is also going to be a lot different than it originally was, so two shots of current progress though rather empty; Note some things are temp.

there was some invention called PHP or maybe even wordpress :X

Your talking to a guy who still uses the Build Engine. Besides, I didn't really want another Wordpress installed on my site since I use one for reviewing map/mods and wanted project related stuff seperate.

But you can get rid of those iframes without making updating the site unmanageable. I'm pretty sure your server will allow PHP or Server Side Includes, just make a header and footer file that incorperates everything of your design except for the actual page and put those two at the beginning and end of each file.To use PHP your pages might need to end in .php, depending on the server. The PHP one would just be:

The obvious can hurt. This method was a much better approach, everything works the way intended (offline right now) Thanks =x
