Well I have some friends who also have portfolio's. They are 3d artists though, so it would be no competition toward me. But anyways I would put links to their portfolio's in that box.

    Should I scrap is though?

This is my second attempt ever at any kind of layout. This is for my portfolio, right now just showing the main page. Any suggestions/crits/comments are welcome.

Also, if you have any suggestions on how the map gallery would be layed out, I'd like to hear...err, read it

I made this with "simple" in mind.

Capcom- Resident Evil series, Street Fighter.

Valve- HL1, Source, great community and modifications

    Rockstar north- GTA series

    id Software- Quake

Gearbox Software- Brothers In Arms is the WW2 game I've always wanted.

  • What game started it for you?

Earthworm Jim started it for me. Tony Hawk 3 on the gamecube though, with the build a park thing set me off in to level design believe it or not. It wasnt "mapping" but I always wanted more after that and when I got a computer, Call of Duty and Radient got me started in real level design.

Didnt like some of the animations. Some sounds, as mike-0 said, were borrowed from cs which bugged me. Mapping in some areas was impressive but in others seemed, amature. Visually I thought it lacked, but the gameplay does make up for it.

    Amazing work.

Didnt give Empires a try yet but Vietcong 2 was not impressive. The sounds are low qaulity and the animations are buggy. Ragdoll is very unrealistic, and the level design wasnt to great either.
