Mino, those awning things are exactly what I need!

looks like a great INS addition with the exception of a few lighting peculiarities that are just source's fault.

yeah definitely guys! I'll probably have a major lighting change next time I post something.. I'm tryin to do as much as possible weaving in and out of classwork.. but this has been the most pumped time for me mapping wise than I've ever been... so I can't wait!

the second one is very render-ish.

noob photo question but how did you do the hdr for the train image? I was only aware of the HDR of compiling low to high exposure images.. which I assumed were multiple images.. making me wonder how you got the train like that.

I really like this if only for it's atypical sky... though that could be a stock one... still is nice to not see the same skies in different maps.. no one will be on the same page as me.. my dads a meteorologist leave me alone!

Wow.. so yeah it's been like.. never since I've posted an actual map. BUT! I'm determined to finish this one. Do your best to ignore the eyesore that is that weeping willow tree.. I'm a little unsure with that one.. I need it to be there.. but I'm just not cuttin that model right... actually help on that would be great too.

Basic idea is to be just a portfolio piece. No it's not hostage rescue but simple team deathmatch right now. And yeah I'm using your trees hessi right now.. I'd like to make that temporary but I'm finding out I suck at trees!

    Things to do:

-make more models ie roof unit, (fix that horrible tree)

    -fix minor stupid things

    -add small minor details

    *UPDATED April 17th*

    Added HDR

    Almost done!

I like it, the dude on the left though I think I'd rather see as the round headed character. Just so you can see 3 of the types and not have two of the same.

It looks really nice.. but on the diffuse I think the green is hurting it. I couldnt figure out the texture at first because of that green background which is actually 'higher' than the vent holes but the darker color makes you think it's farther back. looking at it in the normal and spec versions.. it looks great... just in the diffuse that one thing isnt working for me.

I think you achieved your goal pretty well though.

Thats the idea, so I will certainly try so.Country flags are cool, but I dont know how I would organize that for the USA, seeing as I would actually need to display the state flags then, pretty impossible.

Saying the city/state where the job is in the US is fine with me.. I know where they are

I see what you mean, yeah I guess if you wanted a darker sand than that'd work too.. I wasnt really suggesting like the sand on beaches you see in Corona beer commercials just a different brown than the mountain and dirt.
