I know what it's like not being able to stay away from forum you really love. You find a place that feels right and you just wanna stay... ahhh yes... ![]()

Thanks JynxDaddy, but after this Cdoom project I'm done with remakes for a while. ![]()
The "Classic Doom 3 Theme song" is the music that plays during the menu.
Thanks insta! ![]()
Anyone listen to my songs? ![]()
Haha! Funny thought... but I do actually know who the father is, and I would definitely have taken note if he worked at Raven Software. haha.
Oh shit! Ok, I fixed the download links. I don't know WHERE I got those from.
The menu song was completely my work, so that's a little sample of my style. I'd definitely suggest downloading the two that I just fixed and listening to them.
If you're interested in hearing some stuff I made before I was a part of this Cdoom project, go to my website. sonicclang.ringdev.com and download some of the songs from there. "Beef Rock" is my favorite. ![]()
Breaking nda's is bad mmkay... ![]()
Thanks guys. This seems like a very welcoming place. I've been to some pretty nasty boards, where people immediately try to "defend their home turf" by letting you know you're not very welcome for a while.
kosmo, I too loved the music from the original game. Really, it changed me.
It inpsired me. And most of all, I feel it really made that game great. I'll definitely release the songs when I'm done as mp3 or ogg. Actually, if you have Winamp you could listen to some of them now. It's ok for me to show you the songs that are in the current release. The ones in the next release are secret though... ![]()
Classic Doom 3 Theme song: Download
E1M1 Download , oh yeah, is there any song better?
E1M5 Download . Another great song.
Well there's a taste of them. Just let me know if you want to hear any more.
KungFuSquirrel, sup? It's good to see an actual local guy on the net. I actually know a level designer at Raven... pjw. Raven rocks! The new buildling is amazing. It's JUST the kind of place I'd love to work.
Hey KungFuSquirrel, looks like we're neighbors. I'm in Verona. Very cool pictures! And some people actually believe life doesn't begin until birth... idiots, all of them!
Hey my sister is about to have another baby. She's due next month. How far along is your wife?
Yeah my wife and I are definitely going to wait a little while before having kids.
So I guess that answers my question of whether or not you worked on FarCry.
If you were just hired a year ago as an intern, I'd have to assume you didn't have a hand in the game. Oh well. Still a damn good company. I'm glad for you.
FrieChamp, did you work on FarCry??? That game fricken rocked hard core!!
Thanks ReNo. I agree, it's good to have a community of well rounded talents.
Don't know if you guys know hipshot, but he suggested that I come and register here and join the discussions. I'm not a mapper, but I hang out in level editing forums all the time. I used to make levels, but stopped doing that when I realized the music I was putting in my levels was better than the levels themselves. I started making music for other peoples' Quake 3 levels last April, and hipshot was one the guys I worked with.
Since March of this year (05) I've been working on the Classic Doom 3 mod as part of Flaming Sheep Software. I've spent the last 6 months working on remaking all the music from the first episode of Doom 1. It's been a lot of fun, and a huge challange.
Well, I guess this is just my way of introducing myself. Hopefully I can contribute to the conversations, and possibly I may end up making music for someone's level.
