the textures look nice! there is only one complain: many of these details you included (such as a door, window or other 3d structure) would actually be made of geometry because it would probably look too flat. taking that in mind you would create separate UV sheets for those objects instead of using a wall texture.

other than that: really nice, sharp and clean textures! would perfectly fit into the hl2 content.

when i saw the menu i was looking for a resume. then i noticed that you tried to tell about you in the contact section. i would prefer adding a clean table to a separate section called "resume" with all information about you. education, projects, companies, personal stuff and probably a photo. this will round up the thing.

it is common that a program eats up as much CPU power as there is available when there is stuff to do. so shutting down before hlvis is done won't help you. let it run until it is finished. depending on how you made your level this can take a few minutes up to an hour. if you fucked up the level (like carving or complex CSG geometry) this may even take days. in any case you should read about level optimization for half life 1.

    i remember these (german) articles:

    http://www.thewall.de/content/half-life ... s:r_speeds

then why dont you post the log with VIS turned on? there might be an error popping up that we can't see when you only post the one log without VIS.

you have to run hlvis. oh and don't use the -fast flag if you want to get the best results. -fast speeds up compiling, but the performance of your level will go down as well.

you better read a guide about compiling and probably another guide on how to behave on forums when asking for help.

you are not running hlvis. hence no vis optimization nor lighting.

websites are mostly out of date. so i wouldn't give a shit about what they post there. best thing is to drop an application and wait for a reaction wether there is an opening on the website or not.

agree with the load times. they are horrible and remind me of 56k days.

a picture should be loaded in like 1-2 seconds. i got around 50-70kb/s from your host. so use like 150kb per image. if the image is small use even less. content seems fine. menu graphics are fine. the naming of the menu items is confusing to me: "personal" and "team". after i clicked on those i knew what you were trying to say. so just name it "personal work" and "team work" or something like that. or even better: merge those two together and just call it "gallery".

good luck with finding a job. seems like the bigger companies lay off quite a lot of employees (EA, THQ, ...). they probably want to get a job too.
