i am sorry to read that. actually this is one reason why i don't want to work in this industry. anyway: i am sure that you will find a new position as you now have more professional background knowledge and gained more skills.
good luck, man!

Wait, let me get this right; They dont have the money to pay you for your time time, but you think they'd have the money to hire a lawyer and sue you for showing off some stuff that you made and never got paid to do?
Seems pretty obvious to me what you should do =)
100% agree. fuck them. just do with your work what you want to do. i highly doubt that they will care about you. oh an btw: chatting with a so called CEO .... yeah... sure. you know? A good CEO has no time to talk to "little workers" who get the actual shit done.
i just visited their website... they actually advertise the add-on to a game i worked on back in 2005.

the rendering of "the guild 2" was part of my work. i am actually really curious if the "venice" addon was made by them. but i can tell you one thing: most of the assets are old ones they recycled from the original which was developed at 4head studios.
one thing i noticed over the years: game developers are not as fancy as they often try to tell you. often they are idiots.
hessi signing out, because i will sure get lots of hate mails for that statement

starting with objective-c is quite a hard way to get started. i would have suggested some interpreted language instead of one that gets directly compiled to machine code.
learning to write good software will sure take years!
i have to support duff-e: if you don't have an actual software problem, then you won't know what to "program".
anyway: enjoy your new hobby!

This is my first ever 2d texture... From a high poly model baked onto a 2d plane. It just looks a little boring... Where am I going wrong? It's a wallpaper so it wouldn't be really grimy, I can't think of what to add![Blocked Image: http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f332/PogoP/shot1.jpg]
judging from the style i would refer to my dod_kolsch textures. i don't have that many screenshots that show them in close detail, but you could add some vertical elements like beams as well as some trims at the top.
