yeah sadly/lucky i bought another car: still a mini but this time a 1300i. the problem is both cars dont work 100% smooth. the red one i am selling has bad electrical mess going on and the newer one has to get a replacement engine and gearbox. 
since both need expensive repairs i took the one that woud last the longer.
i am selling my car :*( i made some photos for the web offer. i think it looks damn nice.

at the anti flag concert in cologne.
you can/must draw a selection in hdr shop and when you have an active selection crop will remove the rest. WARNING: there is no undo! so always keep a backup that you can re-open to crop out the rest.
edit: in the status bar there are some numbers indicating where your cursor is pointing. so it is pixel work to get everything 100% matching
i made several hdr skyboxes.
1. the splitskybox tool is just plain valve bullshit. never worked and probably will never work.
2. you have to use hdr shops crop function but be carefull with the bounderies
X boundaries: [0-511][512-1023][1024-1535][1536-2048]
3. to compile a pfm to vtf you have to create a specific parameter in the textfiles you throw in vtex.exe
"pfm" "1"
"pfmscale" "1"
into each txt file. mysky_hdrdn.txt, mysky_hdrlf.txt, ...
4. and then you have to hook up the vmt files:

since i own a eos300D for years now and i still can make nice photos with it (probably better than many other cameras), i can recommend this brand.
the eos 450D is avaible for 850euro with a 18-55mm lense. that's not too bad for the beginning, but a better tele zoom would be nice. you can add like 250 or 300 euro for another additional zoom lense and if you go for the eos450D a SD-Card would be required. additional batteries are recommended too.
the previous eos400D is getting really cheap now but the main difference is that it uses Campact Flash/Microdrive as memory. so if you run low on budget i'd recommend buying now a cheap eos 400D.
probably you can ask someone in your neighborhood to check out the camera by doodling around.
i dont want to be that guy, but i saw that coming. lucky as i am i knew that i had an exam tomorrow, so my participation was out of discussion.
the first one is very repetitive but the second one looks great. could be a nice ruin fantasy themed environment. is this meant to be turned into an actual map for a mod/game or was it just pure "doodle"?

tomorrow around 8 pm (GMT +1) there will be a closed playtest of dod_kolsch. if someone is interested and there are still slots avaible i could hand out a "preview version" of the level to separate individuals. if the playtest doesnt bring any bigger flaws to daylight a final release is in near future.
