Nice interview, it's good to see that they're staying true to the franchise and they know what they're doing (though it's Rockstar so I'd expect nothing less). My only concern is that there's no sight of any graphic novel pages, which was one of MP's key story-telling features, I guess they could be keeping that deliberately quiet.. I just hope they have included them.

I know it's a cliche thing to say but it really looks nothing like Source anymore.. more like Cryengine 2! Such amazing work, good luck with the release!

Swag Jihad must be pretty pissed off right now...

I'll get to it at some point...
Just started watching The Killing (Forbrydelsen) II, quite a bit different to the last one... not sure if I like this terrorist plot storyline, they'd managed to avoid such cliches in the first run

Is the second season of The Walking Dead any good? I've been recording them, but I didn't like the direction of the first one so I'm kind of in two minds about watching them.

I kinda suggested what I had as a texture only challenge this time around, rather than a mapping one...

When you consider all this propaganda about Iran supposedly having nuclear weapons and the sanctions made against them in the news... you can kinda see that this is a bit close to home. It's like the same sort of reaction to 'No Russian', yes it's a game but sometimes there are lines you don't cross... a lot of people condemned that scenario, for me any shock factor it was trying to create dissipated because it added nothing to an already wooden storyline full of holes. I highly doubt they'll get any kind of apology from anyone though.

I think I posted in the wrong section.. whatever

So I'm browsing flickr looking for texture references, looking at many random photos of all sorts of stuff and then it hits me... how about a texture challenge? Maybe we pick out about say 5 random photos/images and you have to make them into a texture set? Or you have to make a texture using just one image and it has to be modified extensively into something creative. What do you guys think?

It felt good seeing the New York footage, I'm glad they've included both locations but I just hope that NY isn't a short run before we get to Brazil, because it still doesn't look right.

Yeah obviously, in sandbox everything respawns...

*shrugs* I don't care for multiplayer unless it's coop.

Awesome, reminds me of Uncharted's artwork

At least for the 2 firsts seasons, it's very boring after that (
it's always the same story/shit
).
Necroquote...Agreed
Though I still enjoy some of it, it's getting a bit old with the "let's go to about 3 different locations per episode" oh and if I see another German Goth fetish nightclub in this series I will scream... -
Infinitely re-spawning enemies... any game developer responsible for this should be closed down and everyone drowned in the ocean. The only time this has worked was in System Shock 2...

Finished watching the campaign, storyline was pretty diabolical.. and oh dear what a horrible ending!
