That's some impressive brushwork, nice work!

I watched two soviet war films over the weekend, Ballad of a Soldier and The Cranes are Flying. D3ads you need to check them out! They are two of the finest art house films in existance. Especialy in The Cranes are Flying the cinematography is simply outstanding. I would consider it one of the most artisticaly pleasing films that i've seen.
Cool, I'll look into them though I don't think they'll be my thing from what I can see.. I could be wrong.
Quote from SkackyThe first third of the movie takes place in Hungary and Russia. But then again the movie is full of clichés so yeah.

Can't say I'm surprised

More like "getting pwned by a Russian" amirite?

Woah.. how did did this slip under the radar?
I do hope it isn't just a PS Vita exclusive, it's bit much to buy another console when you already bought a PS3 to play the Uncharted games (among other things)External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Just came back from the new Mission Impossible. Not bad, not bad. Not the movie of the year but it's still a pretty decent action movie.I was actually quite surprised it was this good.
I saw the trailer with the Kremlin blowing up, looked pretty good in that part... the rest of it.. I don't know what's going on... Does Russia have a large role in the film or do they appear behind the scenes whilst America saves the world again?
I just started watching my X-Files collection, still hands down the best US drama series ever made

they showed russian protests and claimed it was OWS
Nope, Fox showed footage from Greece shown earlier in the year and attempted to pass it off as riots in Moscow, because you know Greek and cyrillic are the same so who would know
In reality the protests in Russia actually lasted 3 days and the biggest was completely peaceful. As for the original topic, I'd be more worried about this right now...

The thing I previously mentioned in EOT recently, basically The Patriot Act Chapter II.

In Bruges - Brilliant, highly recommended.
"It's a shithole"
"Bruges is my home town, Ray"
"Well, it's still a shithole"

It's back up again now...
Anyone have theories as to why part of New York (or a city it's based on) is flooded?

Nice blood decals....

I think he means the foilage at the end knj, it looks too green and fake atm...
I have The Thing Serenius! Damn hard game at times that was...
Quote from TailgunnerAs long as the game is good and fun to play I do not give a fuck if I have to shoot zombies, aliens, russians, or horses to win.
A game where you have to shoot zombies, aliens, russians, and horses would probably be the best game ever made.

It was the city scape at the end that made it look like I Am Legend

Yeah, I was expecting zoo animals to appear any minute

I saw this but I didn't think anything of it.. clever ND!
-
Ellen Page... is that you?
Game looks like I Am Legend: The Game, not such a bad thing.. I'm confident in ND's ability to make it awesome sauce, I just hope they have some innovative gameplay rather than recycling ideas...
Zombies are gay though, they lost their appeal to me about 10 years ago.

Currently, I'm still shitting my way through Dead Space 2. Love it so far; perhaps because it's a genre I haven't played before so the concept is pretty fresh. Great characters and voice work. Challenging enemy types and rewarding gunplay. It's cool.
I finished it recently, the boss battle at the end was confusing...
QuoteI kept shooting the Nicole demon and wondered why I couldn't win until I looked at a walkthrough
My main criticism at DS2 is that there's too much action and the horror aspect that the first game had is mostly lost, DS1 had a lot of small corridors where nothing much happened but you were always expecting something to kill you at any time. DS2 combat was just annoying most of the time, especially those friggin children, the FOV certainly didn't help when you're backed into a wall and you can't see those things if they're right at your feet! Great game though, superb artwork

Not all of the concept art is that great I'll admit but then that's the case with Uncharted 2's concept art... it's concept art, it's not supposed to be an accurate representation of what will definitely be in the game...
These are awesome imho.

*phew* I was so worried back there

-
I'm *hoping* that when Metro Last Light is released, 4a Games could do a "3D Realms/Gearbox" deal and actually finish the game but that would likely only work if the game was almost finished which I highly doubt...
Izuno is right.. WE MUST HAVE FAITH COMRADES! sorry.

COD's success has gone to publishers heads.. "If they can do it, so can we.. in fact unless we do it's not worth it." I would hope that they will release the beta like they did with the original builds but I doubt it will happen
