Ok, I'm hopelessly stuck in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. at the moment, quite early on in the game. I've been to the bus depot and killed the bandits and then got the flashdisk from Nimble's corpse, at which point I'm supposed to go back to the trader to collect my reward. Problem is, when I got back to the bunker, the door is sealed and there's no way of opening it (a bug..? I updated to version 1.500 straight away to avoid this sort of thing happening). Looking at walkthroughs on gamefaqs, they all seem to direct you to rescuing Nimble and taking his PDA.. but in my game he's dead.. so I don't know what to do?
The map is huge, I thought it was big enough when I zoomed out.. but then I realised there were direction buttons and saw there was miles more land to explore too.

The only shot that looks right is this, but not sure if that's in game or not [Blocked Image: http://www.ea.com/redalert/images/media/03_art.jpg]
LOL, sorry dude but that made me laugh so hard, it's obviously a concept piece

Started S.T.A.L.K.E.R. last night, loving it to bits so far, the only problem I have is with some dodgy animations and stupidly hard firefights. Even on the medium graphical settings, it still looks an amazing game and atmosphere is fantastic!

I'll wait to be castrated before I watch that utter crapfest...
-
I'll do my very best to make the next Mapcon

Chasm.. fucking Hell, that was such a blatent Quake clone

-
I think the character looks cool, kinda similar to the GTA3/VC models, but with more details. GTA has always been kinda cartoony anyhow.

Now that's a list

I don't know many people who've played Requiem, it was kind of unnoticed when it was released but I really enjoyed it! Rise Of The Triad is one of those old games I never played actually

Btw, Blake Stone screen for ya: [Blocked Image: http://www.oldschooldos.com/screens/blakestone.png]

Finished Jericho last night, it wasn't nearly as bad as some people are saying but all the same.. nothing special. Recommended if you just want to blast monsters and console-esque button minigames!

Can't find the old thread, not that it matters really.
Coming to us all soon, in the meantime the new site is up:

My favourites are lovemeet.com and the sprunk mini-game

Amazing stuff once again BJA!
Quote from ThrikD3adlode has penchant for creating high-detail rooms. I'm surprised he hasn't looked into using ID4. Isn't the editor reminiscent of the Worldcraft/ID/Valve way of building levels too, seeing as it is technically a later version of the same engine?
I'm fiddling about with stuff in ID4 when I have time actually, it's not quite the same as Hammer though, as dux pointed out.

Much much better

Sa74n: Great style, but I prefer the grey look over the orange personally.

Nice work Darfid, welcome to the core

Good thread, but missing a load of titles, ie:
Blake Stone
Kingpin
Soldier Of Fortune
Shadow Warrior
Blood
Shogo: Mobile Armour Division
No One Lives Forever
Requiem: Avenging Angel
Clive Barker's Undying
System Shock 2/Rainbow Six aren't FPS's either
