I actually like cutscenes if they are done right. I dont need mindless gameplay to enjoy something I think if some games want to blur the mix between gameplay and movies thats fine by me this is one great example of what i think is a good job of it

I meant just the over exposure of character/story stuff through the media instead of just screens and gameplay related stuff.

But for the sake of it, ef your cut scenes.

They're really flooding the place with videos, almost entire cut scenes too, wth.

Kingpin was totally underrated, back when it first came out it was absoloutely shit on by most press, and sold nothing. What other definition is there

One of my initial inspirations for level design. Loved the street levels!

Fuck yeah, Kingpin's crazy ghetto/gothic/bladerunner design was awesome.

    I'm a terrible person.

I understand, I've been there, on the cold bottom staring into my gamerscore, just itching for that extra 20G. I got out of it tho, and I'm really glad I did. Check my gamerscore in my sig and you'll understand that it, in all seriousness, was a very real problem. (I played through Eragon TWICE to get all 1k points. Nuff said.)

Kung Fu panada taints my gamerscore, I've been down the path of movie tie ins

I'm a few hours into the campaign and enjoying it. Gun's feel good and Nazi's die nicely so I think it pretty much covers the basic expectations. The hub town is pretty neat, I remember some talk about open world elements way back when the game was first announced, didn't think any semblance of that remained. No kicking in doors is a downer, but having them shot open and closed is pretty cool.

I tried to play a bit of the MP but connecting to a game takes forever and loading isn't all that snappy. From what I gathered though from the bit I played, the MP is a shadow of RtCW's. It really doesn't even feel like the single player game very much, movement feels totally different and clunky. Kind of odd. How seperate were the .exe's?

I feel bad enough as it is picking up the console version, don't make it worse.

I know one thing that pisses me off about my PS2 slim is that I can't plug a controller in without pushing the fucker back against the wall, ya gotta hold the console down to put it in.

    Yeah I'm lazy so what.

Just like the disaster that is 2004's crash.

Probably the worst movie ever made.

District 9 is definitely far from that.

I just got a stick myself. I'll be kicking around XBL if anyone needs an ego boost.

Though I can use charge characters now with a good degree of reliability yessssss. I'm movin' up in the world.

I know it says it's based on a graphic novel, but I haven't heard of it or read it. Anyway, the trailer makes it feel like Blade Runner meets The Matrix meets Total Recall. I mean all of those were awesome movies, right? So if we just mash them together we'll get something more awesomerer? Right? Isn't that how this works?

Total Recall was on cable last night. They just don't make 'em like they used to.

I bet this movie won't have a 3 titted mutant.

Cant waitBruce Willis is rarely in a bad movie

I'd say it's probably the exact opposite, but the good shit he is in outshines the bad by a wide margin.

Also this looks like total shit

I don't think it picked up a lot of interest at E3, but I'm actually really curious to see more out of Blur. Bizzare creations doing a car combat game could be pretty fun.

I don't know if I should feel extreme joy or be really fucking scared that it's gonna be a huge disaster.

Felt pretty much exact same way after hearing about it. Even though I don't have the hate-hard on for all his recent stuff like a lot of people (American Gangster is pretty fucking great), there is still this weird sense that it might turn to shit, given how long this thing has been talked about.

But it's in the hands of the best science fiction director alive, so even if it's a giant failure, it will be glorious.

Hell, Body of Lies was good shit too.

am i seriously the only one not seeing the awesome painted all over the alien movies?

Best science fiction movie after 2001 and Blade Runner? No, not missing a thing.
