thanks, I've been reading some things on the subject of photography, I learned it's a lot more than I thought (and I thought it was quite a lot)

Really got into photography during my trip in Japan where I had a Kodak Easyshare Zsomethingsomething. Recently got myself a Nikon D70s.

The Japan ones with the easyshare cam:

And the ones taken in my hometown with the D70s, the difference is amazing:

I used the AS-F Nikkor 18-70 lens that came with the D70 kit.

Ah, Kojima sneaked behind us and stabbed us in the back as only he knows how. *sniff*

It's going to be interresting to say the least. Otacon looks 40-something too.

Wonder how old Olga's child is and if he's in the game.

  • You will play this HL2 single-player expansion.

Go to EB, tell them that they sold you a defective product (you are unable to play the game after all) and demand a refund. If they don't, make a fuss and demand to see the manager. Explain the situation to the manager and if he bitches about the policy then ask him if it's policy to sell defective products to customers. If they still won't fold, try to have a number of a local/semi-local consumer rights organization on your cellphone and call them where you are standing.

From my experience (and I have had quite a few) most "policies" don't hold up to consumer laws. Like "discount items cannot be refunded", which is total BS, becuase if the discounted item is defective, they still have to give me a refund.

Big advice in these cases, the company is usually bullshitting you and policies are made for their convience, not yours.

I'm an avid collector, so I can never put it down to one choice, but i'd have to say...

Fight Club, Charlie & the chocolate factory, Wolf's Rain, Macross Plus, Brainpowered, Cowboy Bebop, Metal Gear Solid(s) and of course a ton of assorted tracks from different OSTs. Klendathu Drop, san fransisco, christmas in the silent forest.

And let's not forget the original Katamari Damacy OST

The world is doing just fine.

There are more forests than there were 50 years ago.

The air is cleaner than 50 years ago.

There's less poverty and famine than 50 years ago.

And there's a giant list of other things the "green movement" lies about. So I trust them as close as I can get to the front door of the white house, with a gun.

"According to a legislative staff analysis of the bill, the law would give students who think their beliefs are not being respected legal standing to sue professors and universities. "

If you're in a university, I hope you know that it's the place of science, facts and theories. Religion has little place in all of this. Teachers teach the accepted theories and proven facts. And if someone disagrees they should back it up, not sue.

But then again, i'm not surprised to see this happening in the one country in the world where this can happen. Wait, they probly have a law like this too in Iran.

If anybody knows Soul Reaver, that effect would be cool. You'd basically treat each side as another dimension and the border of the symetry as a "passageway" to the other realm. As the player crosses over the textures would change as wel as the props into their otherwordly form.

Well, I guess it will at least trick out the "crossing the border"

The only real problem with even better graphics is that development times will increase and costs will go up. EA already said it's next-gen games are going to be at least 10 bucks more expensive becuase of this. Powerful 3D hardware is nice, but if it takes 5 years to make a game, you can't take chances and you can't risk innovating.

    Gameplay uber alles
