Personally i would have seen something with a lot more colors, it's the desaturated look and heavy normal / specular mapping which make them look like gow. But it's great anyhow

Wow!! i'll be sure to give it a try when it will be released, you guys are pretty courageous to do that on such an old engine ( add the singleplayer factor ). I loved maxpayne not particularly for a lot of firefights with a lot of enemies, but more because of the scenarisation of the levels. It was switching between some moments of calm where you had the time to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the level, and suddenly, really fast paced action with a lot of stuff breaking appart around you ( in maxpayne 2 i loved the part in the luxury apartments for that ). Making level design for maxpayne is quite tricky, it ask a lot of talent, I hope you guys made your mod on the same line !

Haha awesome, that works pretty well, reminds me a bit the design of the Orchish stuff in warhammer 40 k with those teeth , love how the model is rendered ingame !. You could try to separate a bit the head / wagon with differents tone of grey ? Also watch out for the visible edges on the oven .

Peris, that looks great ! Did you tried to export the mesh to another sculpting program like mudbox ? I'd really like to know if voxels make a good uniform mesh usuable by mudbox or such

I didn't found it that functional, actually, i found it pretty boring (for a movie). I didn't really liked how the characters personalities were adapted on screen, and also the colored rotoscoped style is not really how i would see one of dick's universes..

But you are right, i should give it another chance, because it's already some time back.

It looks a lot like a weapon Martians would have in a sci fi movie of the 50's , which is actually not a bad thing haha. However, the biggest grief i would have is that you got too much repetitions on your design.

You have a lot of redundant shapes : the two tanks in the middle, the two little spheres of the back, the pipes, the things between the tanks, maybe you could rework a bit the silouhette and add more variations of size and so on.
