Even if sick minds find inspiration from something, the games are NOT the problem. Before you have a sick mind, you've been raised very crappy. People that kill 'because of computer games' would find their inspiration elsewhere, music, movies, books, anything (Damn you Shakespeare and your violent MacBeth!). The state of mind of these people is the problem, the cause of their killing. Games are, in these cases, just the last straw.

Keith Haring in 3D, cool. Looks pretty nice anyway, but i think the title is absolutely terrible.

Other research shows that it makes you think faster, that it improves hand-eye coordination and that it's a good way to lose some agressiveness.
Also, i think it's a long way from clicking pixels to stabbing someone with a knife.

Yeah, my bets are on Luxembourg or Switserland

As everything has been said already (I guess ID is interesting to discuss in religion class, it's simply not science so it should not be taught in any scientific institute or school), i would like you all to imagine a discussion between Nexus and Guru.be. Enjoy.

No, no, mum, it's not what you think.
Looking nice

Obviously they're not mine but i think they go in this forum anyway. Very impressive.

I think it's funny how she said the US doesn't approve torturing, but they tried to pass a law that allowed limited torturing a few months ago.

I *love* the first and last photos

generalvivi: Pretty nice, however, those wooden beams look like they're on top of the wall, but in reality they are part of it, there's clay? in between.

I like it in general, but i don't like how some parts are obviously handpainted and other parts are photos turned into the same style. It itches for some reason. Other than that it looks nice and it's pretty close to those paintings as well

The size of lighting data has nothing to do with the amount of light entities in the map. I think those even get stripped during the compile because they do nothing ingame and are just sitting there anyway.

That's not gonna help i think. Reduce the amount of patches instead.

When i saw the first pictures (first 3) i was like "oh. my. god. this is incredibly awesome". To be quite honest, the rest of the pictures stay far behind, they're pretty, well taken, but have nothing extra. They're overly esthetic in my opinion. They're good for what they are, i just can't see enough photos like those first 3 so that's why i am a bit disappointed maybe.

I really love them all, except the last 2. I have my doubts about white borders though

I guess keep it as low as possible. Besides that, exceeding this number is 99/100 cases unnecessary. You sure you did everything you could by using null texture and all the other tricks?

This thread reminds me of this one time in Chemistry class when a teacher asked some stupid girl what was between atoms. Her reply: "Air"

I love it.
"as for the "Bang" ad... I can see why that was banned. Sure, it really was harmless, but it does have people pretending to shoot and kill each other, even if all in fun and play. They brand positioning for X360 is the same as the waterballoon ad, but it is a little less effective just because it has a bit of an edge given the mock "killing"."
If that's a reason to ban a commercial it's hypocrite, silly and pathetic.
