seems like a hodgepodge of neilbloomkamp ghettos and matrix/existenz/inception esque dream/fantasy/fake realities but i am intrigued regardless.

apparently this got picked up by warner brothers all i can say is please recast the main dude ^^

Confusing yet interesting. I agree with the main actor, I think the voice-over parts were especially bad

Released alpha 1.0.0 version for my first game. What an excellent feeling having finally "delivered".

Spent roughly 3+ months working on it, learning new stuff about server programming and Amazon Web Services etc.

More importantly I think I learned a lot about myself and about finding motivation to keep going. Working on a project by yourself

certainly means there's no boss behind your back and no co-workers that do the jobs you're not willing to do. You are responsible of everything.

You can only cheat yourself by not working and procrastinating as there's nobody else.

Obviously the game is not the best evar but like an ugly baby, I love it because I made it . Going to make small updates once a week

until I get it to a level that I'm comfortable to release iOS and Android versions of the game.

This week I'm going to start learning Unity and next week I'll working on my 2nd game

Also excited for spring and summer!

Watched Valhalla Rising again. I love this movie. Nordic influences, beautiful scenery, not much talking, a lot of scenes with men just staring at each other.

Excellent soundtrack with dark ambient sounds and drone metal. Also Nicolas Winding Refn is one of my favourite directors and has not made a bad film imho.

Best thing about the story is in the end they achieve nothing and all get slaughtered

I think the levels are bigger compared to the first game

I did the 4 stage mission today where you use all the fans one by one. It seems the enemies have a longer line of sight than you most of the time. I don't remember this being an issue in the last game.

Sadly the best method seems to be making a loud noise and then killing them all as they rush you (using a door as cover)

Getting shot by some shotgun guy from outside the view is always fun, especially when I have no way to counter it besides relying on luck.

Yeah. I actually think this is kind of a flaw in the level design on some parts of the game.

There's a lot of this "oh I died, apparently there's a dude with a shotgun at the end of this hall and it's impossible for me to see him. I guess I'll remember that next time."

So the design is giving the player practically no other choice but to die for the first time and try again. This does cause some serious rage especially if it's the last enemy in the area

Pretty exciting last few episodes indeed. Though I always find a lot of the episode twists to be incredibly laughable sometimes and there's a lot of truth to the often-joked structure of "nothing happens... then someone does something stupid".

I agree with the overall "nothing happens... then someone does something stupid".

However about the last few episodes:

    Quote

I think the director and writers are trying to over emphasize how the people of Alexandria are mentally very badly equipped to deal with the zombies. Thus the general panic and stupid decision making every time they encounter zombies. Rick's group has become so badass compared to them that it's almost silly.

    id watch space moby dick:

I think the best part of that trailer is the concept and idea behind it.

"Faster than light travel was made possible by harvesting exotic matter from the eggs of the largest species mankind has ever seen. Those that take part in the hunt are mostly involuntary labor"

Space prisoners or slaves forced to hunt space whales. I think that could be made into an awesome scifi movie.

Overall great visuals for a proof of concept particularly the spaceship designs. I hope this film gets made as there's never enough of good quality scifi.

Been playing it for a couple of days. As good as the previous one. Hard as fuck but that was to be expected. A bit more artsy and a lot more story to it. Actually found the story to be quite

interesting even though it's hard to follow sometimes as it's jumping between different characters and dates. 4/5 in my books, would recommend.

EDIT: Also the soundtrack is amazing just like the previous one

Anyway, I was watching some youtube. Saw this one:

Very good movie. I found it to be fairly similar to The Imitation Game in that both movies center around British scientists that face

huge professional and personal problems. Also they both had fantastic leading actors. 4/5, would recommend.

The specs on that device are pretty excellent.

1200x1080 resolution per eye running 90 fps.

Gyro, accelerometer and laser tracking along with somekind of beacons you place in the room.

This allows you to walk around your room with "accurate" positioning.

Don't know about the pricing but this might be the device that gets me to jump on the VR bandwagon.

I guess we'll learn more next week.

First episode of the second half of Walking Dead S5... wtf was that? I've a good mind to give up on it if it's going to be that bad...

Yup same feelings here. I haven't given up on the show yet. I do however feel like the story should progress in a way that's more interesting than all of them walking in the countryside

in every episode and encountering random zombies that manage to kill off a character every now and then.

Mostly between me and a couple of dudes. I got a Tau army and my friends got Space Marines and IG.

I did play Space Hulk a couple of times but that's like 20 years ago or something.
