Insurgency is without a doubt the best looking source mod I've seen so far.

It sounds corny as hell, but I like to think one of the main reasons I enjoy it so much is because of the idea that someone somewhere may one day play my stuff and be "entertained" by it.
Exactly how I feel about it. I like to "entertain" people.
Also recieving positive feedback about your work is nice
,that's the stuff that really what keeps me going.

the urinal, so many times has it been done by so many people, yet
still I ignored the fact and made another one. This time it's low-poly.
Now all I need to do is unwrap it and skin it. (possibly a normalmap also)

This is a mainly Leveldesigner oriented forum,
so it occured to me that it would be sweet to know how your
history with level editors and mapmaking began.
So, what was your first Level Editing software
and for what game?
Was it easy to use from the beginning or did you struggle hard
before finally getting the hang of it? Whatkind of levels did you create?
I know I'm not as oldschool as some of the pro's here, and I personally
remember my first "level editor" being the Warcraft 2 Editor.
It was relatively easy to use, although I was ~10 years old and my
English wasn't that good. I made tons of maps, most of them
we're really unbalanced maps where I had an army of knights etc. at
the beginning of the map. Although it was a simple 2d RTS editor,
it really sparked my passion for level editing/customizing.

I have seen it one and a half years ago already (in korean without subtitles!). With this movie my interest in south korean films started.
I'm a HUUGE fan of Korean movies.
If you haven't, you should watch these awesome Korean movies:
Chingoo aka Friend http://%7boption%7d
Hae Anseon aka The Coast Guard http://%7boption%7d
They both have the same lead actor as in Taegukgi - Brotherhood of War,
called Dong-Kun Jang. You should also see his other movies
Here's a list http://%7boption%7d

I'll definitely give this game a try. Rockstar needs to get
a new engine though, GTA3,Vice City, San Andreas and Bully
all look pretty much the same.
It'd be sweet if there was nerd student called "Jack Thompson", who
you can kick around

I have never used Linux and never will. As long as I can
use the software I want on Windows, I'm not touching Linux.
I don't hate Linux, neither do I love Windows.
Using Windows doesn't mean you love microsoft and hate all-things-linux.

I hope to god he isn't. But why would a grown man claim he was 12? It makes no sense. Then again a 12 year old linux freak programmer makes even less sense.
If he is a grown man pretending to be 12, he also needs to step the hell away from the keyboard. Maybe even go outside. You know, sunlight. Scary.

Touching the Void
The true story of two climbers and their perilous journey up the west face of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes in 1985.
-
It's one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I don't like
rockclimbing or mountains and still I found the film extremely
enjoyable. A very emotional ending.
(BTW. Anyone know any good non-mainstream films
that have a sad/touching ending ?)

Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2
You should definitely give it a try, personally I loved it. The destruction of the environment in the game was unlike I've had never seen. One could virtually
destroy anything in the game, if you had enough explosives

The most joy I ever got in the game was the multiplayer co-op.
What sucked about the game was the UI and sometimes the AI.

Oh yeah, I forgot about DS,
right now I'm playing:
-Advance Wars: Dual Strike
-Mario Kart DS
-Animal Crossing
Already finished New Super Mario Bros. and man it was easy,
I enjoy the minigames occasionally.

Dance mat to control a game of Tekken.
Sweet! I have to try that out

I tried the demo at my friend's last night, at first it was pure awesomeness.
Slicing zombies and stabbing them to death, stuffing hands in their mouths,
putting legoheads on them etc. but then after ~30mins it got a bit boring
tbh. Still, it was a laugh playing the demo for a while.
