Oooh... there's a dancing mini-game? Does the female character mirror whichever animations you do?

...and more importantly, do you have to kill her later?

As an aside... maybe it's just me... but did anyone else feel bad about killing the fat guy in the Demo level? He didn't really do that much bad (he was a bit of a coward) and when he was screaming "No please... don't" I just syringed him to shut his voice up so I wouldn't feel so guilty. And then I felt guiltier for doing so. I was wondering when morals would catch up with the Hitman games... which is ironic because before, I didn't like the fact that everyone you killed had a convoluted story for being a bad guy and it felt like you were more of a mafia hitman rather than a real/civilian/80sActionMovie hitman.

Sadly, thats why I dont like the game so much I think its too hard

    Eh?

The demo level was really linear and you were led by the nose, but that's the nature of a tutorial, and maybe they realised there were lots of Hitman noobs who would need hand-holding.

To release it as a demo could be imho a bit of a mistake though, since luckily I've played 1 and 2 and could appreciate the new things they've added and improvements made without lamenting on the design or the level itself.

Yeah, knocked FIFA off the top spot.

As for the Splinter Cell/Hitman comments, I don't get your comparison either ...Splinter Cell has always felt what you describe as "what does the designer want me to do now?" ...Hitman has many ways to play and is much less linear, although I do agree there are usually 1 or 2 'set' preferred ways, I wish they'd open up the gameplay and let some stuff be more emergent.

Also, glad to see the walk/strafe animation for Agent 47 is actually cool now and contains very little (none?) of that sliding from the old games.

First-person view is also better, but aiming reminded me more of the so-called "2nd-person" or over the shoulder shooting in Splinter Cell.

The demo was so good, Friechamp took off two days to be "ill" just to play it.

Nah, I played it at the weekend and I can't wait until I have some time to buy/play the full thing... only gripe was that the demo was the tutorial (but very good tutorial at that ) ...I'd have preferred a bit more freedom meself.

    Six georffs.

OMG, all I want is a 60fps GoldenEye.

Not an actual golden eye, though. That'd just be silly.

Hehe, I remember seeing that on like, PC Zone or PC Gamer's cover disc... I found the chumtoad killing the scientist NPC so awesome at the time, although looking back now (and knowing the backstory behind the making of the game) it's crazy how much they reorganised, improved and achieved in less than a year.

Oh, and KFS: wasn't the pillar room from/consolidated into HL Uplink?

Yeah, love the reflection in the water, but as has been said... it looks a little Tim Burton there with the mountains 'n all.

MOHAA had a nice sparkly ice/frost shader back in 2001, so far the snow looks nice albeit a pumped up version of, say, the mud material in Aztec.

Didn't Lucas lift the idea of his Stormtroopers from Nazi Stormtroopers anyway?

The topic's point is moot, anyway; how would the Nazis be able to fly into space and bullseye a vent not larger than 2m before the Death Star destroyed Germany/Earth?

Can't wait, since Roger Avery - the guy behind, like, a 3rd of Pulp Fiction wrote the script.

I cannot put into words just how fucking shite Pimp My Ride is or anything affiliated with MTV for that matter.Oh and admit it, you all want to play this game

Oi, shut it! It's my only link to the English-speaking world over here...

And I think the 'pimp my ride' game is actually LA Rush, which just uses Westcoast Customs' brand in it, but isn't actually about pimping anyone's ride.

Yeah, but they really have to do something about the 'flat' appearance water has... it's mainly because of the edges, I guess, but look at that shot above... the sharp angle of the water on the left really sticks out like a sore thumb in an otherwise really good-looking hyper-real setting.

Just remember, the grass isn't always necessarily greener - you'll find aspects of this hardship almost everywhere, especially in 'creative' industries like the ones you mentioned - comics and film.
