Yea Rockstar North. They make awesome games for decades now. Classics like Hired Guns, Walker or Lemmings on the Amiga (when the company was known as DMA Design) and later the whole GTA series, which offers one of the best singleplayer experiences.

Looks more like some highpass photoshopping to me. I really dont like the look of these so called "HDR" photos. The pictures show some interesting stuff tho.

I downloaded this 2D jump'n'shoot recently. It's pretty well done and the gfx are nice.

The game is a clone of Turrican (probably the most legendary action game on C64 and Amiga for you noobs).

Those who say "who cares": It's fucking Duke 3D! The original was state of the art and thats the least one could expect from the new title especialy after such a long development time.

Not really a comic expert but i was told that Frank Miller's Batman comics (which the new movies are based on afaik) are a lot darker and gritty then the traditional Batman comics. So its just logic that the movies have a darker and more realistic feel to it.

I thought Batman Begins was a pretty good movie, not only because it has Bale as Batman. It's a good movie in general.

And the 6 minute preview for Dark Knight is very promising.

Anyone else finds it a bit od that they come up with a fucking TEASER after all these years? A proper trailer would have been more appropiate.

I dont like the TV show. Its pretty cheaply done imo (i have seen the first episode).

About the movies. I thought 3 was pretty entertaining but what it lacked was innovation. T2 really was ahead of his time and a big step forward from T1. Thats something everybody expected from T3 too but it didnt deliver.

Maybe they will bundle crysis with a lot of new gfx cards? When you create a game that doesnt run proberly on so many machines there must be a strategy behind it. Nobody knows what kinda deals crytek has with hardware manufacturers.

Actualy the temperaturs/weather here is more or less identical to central europe due to the gulf stream. Maybe in january/february it will be a bit colder which isnt a bad thing tho cause snow is better then cold and wet piss weather imo.
