The cartoons were the spark that ignited the fire. What goes around comes around, and that goes to both sides in this argument.

If we're in a war, how come they aren't accorded POW rights?

Technically, it's not a war, except everyone including Congress and the President calls it a war. So it isn't a war, but it is? See?

Yeah, I was and am just as confused.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a classic tale of treating your enemies with the respect you would want your own people to be treated by your enemy iif they happened to be captured. Seriously, POWs and those kidnapped in iIraq et al are just as deserving to life as everyone else, but I find it hard to give out sympathy to those policy-makers who deem it necessary to add fine print the legislation so they have a loophole big enough to torture people without consequence.

For being such Christian people, I fail to see why the White House still harbours not a good bone in their collective body.

Ah, I just wanted to know what made you so sure you were right. Not so sure what makes your opinion more credible than the others voiced in this thread...?

    Question for mawibse:

Have you been to Gitmo Bay?

What makes statements made by your opposition conjecture and your's true?

By the way, I'd like you to produce a credible source to back up your statement about the investigators being invited to Gitmo Bay and given access to the materials they needed. As far as I know of, no UN or human rights group has been allowed inside of the camp to do the necessary work to uncover the truth.

Note: a source other than the one used in the CNN article, ie. someone not biased towards their own cause (Richard Grenell).

I find it really sad that the government is attacking those who are looking out for the wellbeing of fellow human beings. Another example of the US government supporting a group when they support their position and casting them aside as crazies when they don't.

If you want more information on the Israeli-Palestian conflict, watch "Hamas: Behind the Mask". It's a documentary about the conflict, and it was aired on the CBC's Passionate Eye a couple weeks back, look for it in reruns if you're a Canadian or if you have CBC on satelitte.

As far as Israel is concerned, they are not without their own demons and bad deeds. The Western media fails to cover it, and the Israeli government likes to hide it, but there have been many horribly bad things done to the Palestian people without consequence. Everyone is all too willing to look away -- it's handy having a pro-Western country in an entirely anti-West region.

You guys engage in ad hominem argument way too much. Let's stick to the truth, and call it a day: the people running all of our countries, whether it be Middle Eastern or West, are bat shit crazy, and the people who succeed them in running our countries, whether it be Middle Eastern or West, are going to be bat shit crazy. You might as well get used to getting fucked up the ass by your and others' politicians, it happens a lot.

Iran brings up extremely valid points, no matter how crazy their leader is. What you're all forgetting is what happened with North Korea. They now have a nuke, and nobody would dare fuck with them. Not only that, but they're playing with more weight on the international scene. Accordingly, Iran wants to be in a similar situation.

There is nothing illegal about countries trying to obtain nuclear weapons. If the United States wants to get UN inspectors into Iran, maybe they should let them into their own country first. There are fundamentalists in positions of power in the United States, too.

The fact the United States does not agree with Iran's ambitions does not automatically make them wrong.

It really has more to do with how your lighting is set up. You can get professional looking lighting and color tones by having a cheap setup done correctly.

Given what Izuno said, there are certain things you can do within video editing software like Premiere that can give the impression of being shot on an expensive camera (ie. adjusts the lighting) by passing the video through filters but you really need to invest in a good video camera if you want to get comparible quality.

Does strangling-off and karate chop kills/K-Os count? If so, over 1000.

One hour into the season and Jack had already assumed 3 identities (Jack, Frank, and that FBI mo focker he took out). Any I missed?

overpriced crap...i bought one before i could find out.

Markets work on supply and demand, nothing less. If people would pay $2000 for an iPod, why wouldn't they charge that much? Don't blame Apple for overpricing their product, blame the consumers that buy it.

Hey, bia guys. Stop being so bitter about MOH. This is looking good

I'm telling you its like deja vu.

"Simply put, the AI of friends and foes alike will dynamically react to the surrounding world, adjusting to new situations, and most importantly, the player's actions."

I was nowhere near the development of BIA, but come on. The graphics look awesome, but read the article.

No, but I can argue with non-replaceable batteries.

Fuck that, I'll stick with my Creative Zen.

I've had my iPod for over a year without problem with the battery or amount of use per charge. I know its been an issue for some, but as far as I know Apple is required by court order now to replace batteries for a reduced price or free.

ipod for the winI love my black 30 gig video. 60 gigs is a lot, 30 did just fine.

60 gig never really had a market until the video support was added. Only a select few people would have enough music to justify a 60 gig iPod, and the iPod photo was a similar situation. As far as the 60 gig iPod was concerned, it was more useful for its ability to function as a file transfer drive.

I just finished HL2 for the first time today. I started playing it yesterday out of the blue, and picked up where I left off in January of last year. I found the later half of the game to be more enjoyable than the prior half, obviously, because the earlier half made me drop the game for what I thought was forever.

The iPod. Often replicated, never duplicated.

Try and argue with 85% market share. You can't.
