Now I think that is not actually true, terrorists use terror and threaths like they use guns and bombs, so would he still be innocent if he used a weapon of some sort to threaten a city like London to create mass panic but in the end didn't use it? I'm all for good humor, and sponge bob has some rather great jokes, but the overall quality of it is low. And I'm not that much in to Ren & Stimpy, like SB it has some great jokes but it is not that great.
The cartoons I worship as good source of comedy and quality scripts are, Samurai Jack, Family Guy and Simpsons, I watch alot of cartoons and anime, and I never look for them to be educational, I look them to be entertaining, and besides the western societys narrowminded view about cartoons/animation is just rediculous, what I have learned from some european cartoons and anime is that they are not automatically targeted to children, like many seem to think.
There are tons of comics that are not targeted to children, so why are all animations suddenly for children? I hate the BS people rant on about cartoons like R & S, SB, Family Guy, simpsons, Samurai Jack and the list goes on, "they are not suitable for children" or "kids wouldn't understand them" well no shit sherlock, that is because for kids they are not, my friend.

Friday we learned that Microsoft has officially named their new Windows - earlier known as it's project name 'Longhorn' - as Windows Vista, Vista means ofcourse a distant view from an opening, or a place to offer such a view.
Microsoft also associates terms such as "clear", "confident" and obviously like their Xbox 360 system "connected".

Back to topic fo real: Sims 2 is definedly more racy than the original Sims, maybe it has something to do with Singles trying to usher itself to the market through an opening the developers saw, and like with other games, Maxis tries to pleace somewhat everyone.
But what can I say, I just got insane grin when my John "the MAN" Shaft put his evil seed on three separate women, now that is what I call good host. Tho what I would like to see in Sims 3 or some of the expansion packs, would be religion, so that you could be just a part of something, or form a cult with followers, or be a fanatic religious zealoth 
And not to forget the redneck hicks, why can't I make a racist pig in Sims and live in trailerpark like good white trash.
So, umm.. my point being, Sims 2 with it's so called nudity is nowhere near what it could be if it was a REAL life simulator, but it's far from it, more like happy life simulator. Your toon seems to always get a job, and eveyone around him is nice and even if people fight, they can be friends, lovers and have a baby in matter of days (yes I have tested this). It creates the illusion that if you work hard enough and long enough, you can buy a sports car and live in a palace.
So now come to think of it, it actually IS dangerous to our children, not because it is mildly racy, but becaues it is totally bullhonkey, small kids learn twisted life lessons from this game and think it is allright to hanky panky with several different women, they learn that being a suspicious racist fucker (in strangerhood or what ever, the military guy) is funny.
DAMN! I'm not going to let my kids play this game.
It's like the crazy Moomin cartoon in the tv, they teach kids to speak the fucked up talk they talk, it's creepy.

I see it as a common courtesy to put a bit of effort into laying down your thoughts. Grammar is there for a reason - to make things easier to read and get the exact message across clearly. Choosing not to bother is showing disrespect to the readers. I'm hardly asking for 100% perfect grammar anyway, and I appreciate the fact we are a multinational community and people have different graps of the language, but a little effort goes a long way
I understand, but what I have seen here is no where near what they have to stand on other forums from some people that really don't know any english at all, OR deliberately write like retarded monkeys with a brain tumor. And where I agree with you, correct grammar and spelling equals correct message presented. But then again, like I said, there are not that bad cases here in this forum, so you'd have to lack something if you didn't understand what the message is, and I think there are no such people here.

The bottom line is that when people jab others about bad grammar when it actually is not neccessary, is just not that cool, if someone has continously bad grammar in his posts, then a word might be in order, but one post just doesn't justify that. The attorney claims that if the blur effect is taken off the models resemble too much of naked people. My guess is that this attorney is a virgin
Besides Maxis didn't put any genitals to the models, so even if you take the blurr effect off (again something done wit a mod and the developer can't be held responsible) you can't see anything you couldn't see by stripping a barbie doll. But the problem here is that the attorney says that EA nor Maxis are doing anything to prevent people from doing nude mods with models that have hoohoos and haahaas, to which to me is just plain retard, why should they prevent mod makers from doing this? If a mod maker does a mod it is the users decision to download the mod and apply it to the game, in no way there is children exposed to content they are not willing to see, or are porn movie producers responsible if a kid willingly downloads a porn movie from the internet and watches it?

Actually I can read the text just fine, since the charater code in the site is japanese and I got japanese charater sets put on, but I can't actually read it, maybe my cousin who studies japanese could.
And the game is verymuch real, it was announced for arcade machines at Arcade Machine Show 2003, more about it and even a nice video here.
It's basically a mod for CS to change the graphics to suite the arcade market in japan, which is dominated by anime scifi shooters and beat'em ups.

You should really check a documentary called Scratch, it is the best documentary about turntablism and turntablegods such as Mixmaster Mike and Dj Qbert.

No no, don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against UE3 or it's popularity, on the contrary. Having modded for UT2k3/4 I have learned alot about it and it's strenghts, and I completely understand why developers like using it.
The support for it is awesome, and I'm glad that it is getting alot of attenttion and the fact that epic has taken interest in other deelopers products and ideas (like the NovodeX physics engine from AGEIA) just makes it that much better option for developers.
And what adds to the already great concept is that it is very similar to the old UE2 and 2.5 so devs can easily pick up it and not have to learn everything from the start again.

It's not that people expect the trailers to be hollywood CG quality stuff, it's because we were promised eye sex by the console developers.
But I agree with you, can't judge the consoles by the first patch of games, I'm expecting some real visual orgy from Resident Evil 5 and MGS 4, they have always been the most beautiful games no matter the platform.
But more than eye humping, I'm waiting if the next-gen consoles can deliver anything really new than just improved visuals. The news of SCEI has licensed AGEIAs Novodex SDK so the physics might be tad improved, but I was wating for someone to put the actualy PhysX chip to their console, that would have been a step to the right direction.
