I didn't say that Chinese goverment doesn't control their population, but I just said that it's rather arbitrary to say Chinese goverment generally hate games and tries to stop it's population from "communicating" and using MMORPG as an example software of communication.

If Chinese goverment wanted to bring the hammer down to WoW, EQ etc. I think that they would just outlaw them. It doesn't seem like a goverment that has a solid grip on the balls of it's population would go around bashing some MMOG "for being hazardous to it's users."

But I'm saying that even if there is a judge crazy enough to accept something far fetched as "WoW making a kid jump off a building" I think Blizz has a solid base for a case that it's not true and their lawyer armies will just present undeniable proof as long as the suing family has money left to fight.

There actually is very little good resources on making materials, I have learned from various tutorials across internet, and one valuable resource was Brazil R/S manual that came with it. I was lucky to get my hands on it through a friend.

Jack Thompsons stance against "everything that is harmful to children" might be everything if you really think about it. If children are so suggestible as he makes them out to be, then I'd say that even normal games like super mario bros. and zelda are bad for children, their minds are clouded and they don't know what is real and what is not. So why he just attacks violent games? My money is on what Izuno said, he just doesn't care about the cause, he saw a good market for a loud lawyer that represents the "masses against heartless game companies that don't care about little children."

Now this is the part where I say "damn, he is actually smarter than he looks" but I know that is not the case so I woun't waste my time by making such statement. Jack is just very lonely old man.

Fletch, what you just said has no accuracy at all and I believe that even in China the judgess will pull the plug on this legal action because it has just no base to begin with.

But when you think about it, something has to be done, memory requirements keep increasing and already it becomes a bottleneck at 256 on a graphics card.

So apparently they stopped fining for stupidity and started rewarding it and suing afterwards.

So where was the line we crossed that everything that happens after you have played a video game is NOT necessarily connected to it.

The story goes that some dimwit jumped from 24th floot after playing WoW, and the parents thought that "it was most propably maybe somehow connected to something that might have had in someway have something to do with something like a game or something " so they decided to sue Blizz. Smart move from a stupid animal, it's like a snail started to use a bicycle or something.

So does anyone else think that this is just starting to go to bit over the top of common sense? My friend jumped from a roof after eating some bread, I propably just in case should sue the company that made the bread, just in case I should sue the company that made the butter and the one that made his jeans, maybe the company responsible of the asphalt had something to do with it, of and not to forget the company that build the building, it was their fault that after eating dry bread he decided to jump off the roof because his jeans were too tight and the butter was supposed to be low calorie product and the building builders made the building way damn too tall and the asphalt was not nearly soft enough. Yeah that was it.

So should we start a organization that countersued people just for kicks, "sued for stupidity!"

    Link YEAH!

(disc. ridiculousity is not an actual word)

I guess you are right. Like Homer said "I'm a 40 year old white male, everyone listens to me." So I guess that also is the point where you are untouchable.

No I'm not talking about those yahoos in Israel who deserve to be wiped from the face of the earth, but jews who are just like me and you, who are part of society in somewhere else, living by others rules and not trying to keep some land that was not theirs in the first place and doing terrorist strikes camouflaged as "military strikes against terrorists."

I have a friend who is a hell of an auto mechanic and happens to be a jew, you can't actually tell it just by looking him. He has been raised here in our schools, by our culture - like Finland has had a culture for about a five decades, coca cola hollywood bitch IBM rap n roll HOMBRE! - but yeah, he values the same things as the rest of us here and is just like another Finnish jerk, but still some people who know "his dark secret" - dark because he doesn't see anything to advertise about it - they treat him like shit, and the ones who have the decency to not judge him by what he is and use his shop to fix their car, they always bitch about his price and usually pay what the fuck they want to.

Well, I don't know if it is because of the latest events in Israel, but some people just are complete asses.

Just tought that you'd like to know.

Well, you can do as much as you can do with a regular web page, css styling can do prettymuch even without pictures. But I'd also like to hear what you had in mind since I'm gathering info and ideas of my new publishing platform.

If you can post specifics here of what you need I might be interested.

As I'm building a publishing platform for artist in mind for portfolio uses and maybe even art community/group uses.

So what you are looking for might be helpful for my project aswell.

Yeah Kiltron is a real "menace 2 society" or something, a real bad ass, or so he likes to think.

He just goes around insulting people and being an overall ass. But what else can you do than hit him in the face so hard that he actually reverts back to fetus and crawls in to her mothers womb and transforms back to sperm and oozes from his mothers pussy to the ground and then wipe off the mess?

But seriously, there hasn't been any good remake mod since, uhh, I can't remember, there has been a good one, but I just can't remember it. Anyway, remakes are overall bad idea.

    q2 conversion time...

What is it with people and remaking old games?

I love quake, quake 2 and dooms as much as the next guy, but I don't want to play some remake, well not quake 2 anyways, since I still have it installed on my comp.

    What is their purpose?

But anyway, me and my cousin just started a new joint map project so we might be using Q4 for it. Depends on the leetness of the editor.
