    gameplay video is lovely.

that guy who comments the play sure knows how to sell the game. he could sell used cars or wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men or something...

Most important question: is there gonna be a planning stage like in Rainbow Six 1-3?

If not, Rainbow Six Vegas is dead to me now. Without the planning aspect it would be like SWAT4 or GRAW set in Las Vagas, nothing special. Planning is what Rainbow Six is all about!

I used to spend hours making out the perfect plan and when at the end of the mission everything went right, all objectives were achieved and no team member was killed I felt a very proud moment, leaned back on my chair and said to myself like Hannibal Smith from A-Team: I love it when a plan comes together.

Those were the unique Rainbow Six moments, please don't take them away

the shanghai level in splinter cell double agent seems to be done the same way.

it looks like mix of flat photo surfaces and actually modeled objects. can't really tell until I see that stuff in motion, but one thing is for sure, it looks absolutely stunning.

the price is amazing. the wii doesn't actually have to compete against ps3 or xbox 360 because it's really cheap and I'm sure many people will be actually able to afford a wii next to one of the pricy next gen consoles.

plus nintendo is gonna attract a whole bunch of new customers, ppl who never played games before.

ah by the way, I know it's a bit out of context, but is anybody else pissed that the PC version of Alan Wake is exclusively for windows vista?

Ever heard of "gameplay" you cs kiddy? Spore is one of the most interesting game projects of all times. Will Wright is really striking a new path with that game.

this is not a sequel, it has nothing to do with oldboy.

by the way, there's hollywood remake of oldboy coming and it's probably gonna suck big time.

always remember before you apply the NV filter that bright parts of the texture will "stick out" and dark parts will "stick in".

    [Blocked Image: http://www.insurgencymod.net/team/upload/Users/Squirrelly/Tutorial%20Images/Tutorial_05.jpg]

take a look at your grayscale texture and you can clearly see that the bricks should be the other way round (bright bricks, dark gaps)

wow that's some great concept art.

but have your concept artists ever heard of "polygons"?

those environments (yes they look great) are not doable in the source engine nor in any other realtime engine either.

I recently got my ICO Special Edition from eBay. I paid almost £50 for that thing, just because it's in mint condition (how nerdy must that sound...)

Other games I played in the past weeks:

    - Splinter Cell 4 (awesome game. Luka are you credited?)

    - Mario 64 on a emulator (current status: 56 stars - I had all of them about 8 years ago)

when do they wanna release halo2, 2007?

they would definitely need to massively update the graphics (replacing all models, maps, effects - EVERYTHING)

even if they released it today, it would still look outdated compared to PC games nowadays.

    good luck microsoft

We had to change ours, too. What works reasonably (not too noticable) well is a white cross on a red circle. Seems to shut 'em up.
