section ei8ht i thought the game would be out in japan?

It is. BH4 is 2 years old and from what I gathered, runs on a special built PS2 emulator built just for BH4. BH4 just never made its way to European and American torrent sites until a few days ago.

The Japanese version is the one that they are using for the comparison shots. We are not getting the Japanese version as our RE4 (Well, we very well could be, but no one knows, all I'm saying is, save your worrying until the game is actually in store shelves, or there is at least a demo that you can download direct from Ubisoft's site. The linked thread tells us nothing.).

Um, the game isnt even out yet for PC. Those "comparison shots" are from a leaked beta that started appearing on torrent sites about three days ago. From what I hear, this leaked version does not support a mouse yet, just a keyboard.

Some loser release group got ahold of the leak, schlacked on a quick windows gui for control configuration, applied their own serial (which is pointless because their nfo gives you their applied serial) and faked it as the real deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have not seen anywhere from anyplace official saying the game is released on PC nor have I seen the game on shelves. Wait before you criticize, because what you're seeing is a release groups childish attempt at getting street credit for a modified beta leak that they're passing of as the final build.

[edit]I did a little digging. Found out that this version seems to be the Japanese port of RE4 officially called Biohazard 4. BH4 apparently has been circulating the asian underground for the last 2 years and is just now making its way to EU and NA. Yeah, those threads have nothing to do with the Ubisoft produced Resident Evil 4 for PC.

It seems to me that most of the smaller games like Tetris and Asteriods are built in Java, but I've also seen my share of programs for pdas written in embedded C++.

It's actually taken from a "true" story, believe it or not.

The whole thing is about Greece beeing under attack by the persians, and the whole of greece isnt united under one banner so they are pretty much fucked. Then the persians meet the spartans and theres this legendary battle where 300 spartans stand against a horde of persians. Their couragious death made the whole of greece unite and fight back the persians.

    Something like that

I dont get the hype at all. To me its just an overpriced ipod with a phone attached. It would have considered it if there was support for third party apps, but since there isnt, its kind of useless to me.

welll if animations are premade, why should computation matter.

True. If you were to implement the detections in the modeller, it would not make a difference at runtime because the detections would not need to be calculated at runtime because they are evident in the animation precalculation.

Oh yeah, and its 2006 and we dont even have StarCraft 2.
