So yeah here is the first batch of picture. There is a lot to be learned, so these aren't the best pictures in the world, but i feel they are not so bad either. I still use Auto on the camera, i want and will learn how to set the camera for special environment but i believe i have a long way to go before i will be there. Also i still play around in the editing program, trying different levels, contrast, colour corrections and such. I still try to see images, to find that very special shot but to be better at that i think i have to just take more and more pictures.

So be free to criticize and come with tips/suggestions!

Thank you very much HP! This was exactly what i was looking for here. Some tips and stuff, yes it's a 18-55 mm and i will use that. I don't have to much money so it will have to do. AV mode was what i thought to, but after that i don't know really how to go forward to learn how to set different stuff so i like that you gave me some specifics i could think of. You say master your body and i figured you didn't mean my arm and legs i guess but the cameras body, by that do you mean all the different buttons and wheels and stuff? Unless you actually meant MY body, how to stand and hold the camera? Thanks for the link and even more thanks for the PM!

Hey guys, i know you guys are awesome at photographing and cameras and such and i just got a Canon 550D as a birthday gift. I have read a few threads here before about cameras but i dont remember their name, any way does any one here knows the pros and cons with this camera. Bare in mind though that this is to consider as a "first" camera for me. Sure i got others before but nothing advanced. Tell me what you think of it. Thanks.

Hey! Just popped in to share a map i did in minecraft. I know its not like "mapmaking" as you guys do. But if any one in Mapcore plays minecraft you could try it out. I did it because it was fun to do and i could play some with Vegas making a little movie about the map. In any way i hope you like it.

I am old but if i remember correctly i had some fallouts with Engineer a couple of times on IRC, it worked out in the end and i even got opped. He was a kind person and it saddens me that he is gone.

Saw this on Facebook, I am so sad to hear this, i allways liked Engy, allways so talentfull. I want to think that he is on a extraordinary journey.

Yeah, i didn't want to put this in EOT. As noted (i guess for some at least) i haven't been around much lately. Personal issues. Depression, 3 panicanciety in shorter then 1 month. Iv'e been at this internet thingy since the beginning of the 80's. I've seen people come and go on mapcore since 2000 something. Some died, some tok their own life. I helped many with personal problems, dating, ecenomy, self confidence etc. One of the most common statement i got was "I want to map, but i can't, it's to hard". And i allways convinced them that every one can do whatever they want, sure some may have it harder then others to learn, but EVERYONE can learn if interest and will is there.

In any way i'm old and i have been at it for to long. I leave with no regrets, and i have come to learn a lot of great people here. But i have to stop it. I won't say i never pop in, but on the other the age and such, maybe there's not much time left for me. Only god knows.

I also left most IRC channels, and i think it is good for me, been listening to much of others problem. Better if i tok care of my own life and my own issues in life.

So take care, keep this alive, there's still kids out there want to learn develope games, learn graphic, learn coding etc. And above all take care of you and each other.

I will still be on Facebook for a while at least, maybe i'll do my page more private for relatives and such. But for now it is public. And msn probably allways will be on here.

I dunno, i recently had a really ruff time. Today i can't listen to anything remote hard or fast or bad lyrics, not bad as in bad but about bad things.

A couple days ago i bought 2 cd's on a second hand store. 10SEK each (10 Swedish kronor = 1.39698 U.S. dollars).

Romantic Dreamings-Klassische Klavierstücke zum Träumen and Philip.Riley-Visions and Voices. Both really great.

Tried to search YT but to no avail. Now a song that makes me feel good anytime is "The day Chicago died, which is kind of strange, because it is about gangsters and death, but the upbeat kind of pulls you into a smile for me anyway. Escpesially this cover with Paper Lace.
