This looks really cool congrats! Will there be an option to turn of the heavy pixelation? Only because while watching the trailer I found it really hard to focus and it gave me a slight headache.

I finished it the other week when I finally had some free time. 19 hours of mostly annoyance free fun! Having never played RE2 before I definitely feel the 1st half of the game was more enjoyable for me than the final part. I loved every minute of the police station and discovering the underground bit. Sewers were okay, really hated those big fleshy things that came out the water and that bit that forced you through their lair bit. Mostly because it stressed me out haha. Really enjoyed the level design for the station and sewers though, how it all joins up and had me going "oooh I see now". Particularly the part where I came out to an originally locked door to the stairs that took me down to the sewers, I really liked little bits like that. Didn't like the FBI girls bits with her hacking gun, weakest part of the game to me. Fortunately it was only brief. The dialogue and voice acting was god awful, but it's a 90's Japanese game it's part of the package. Also the last boss fight can go do one. I died once the whole game to a section I thought was a cinematic but turned out to be sort of QTE that wasn't presented well at all. But the final boss I died like 5 times.

A new games crash is coming if they keep this up. We are currently in an age where a triple A (and I hate the term triple A) game can sell 7+ million copies and have "under-performed in expectations" slapped on it. That is fucking ridiculous.

Take me back to the 90's before corporate suits, SJW's and politics got involved in games and fucked everything up. What happened to the days where the norm was a company for gamers, run by gamers, wanting to make games for gamers (Looking Glass, Ion Storm, Black Isle, Bioware, Blizzard, Valve, Bullfrog, Shiny, Interplay, Irrational Games? Want a game in a style to what these guys used to make? Kickstarter is the best bet because EA and Activision are here to milk the soul out of the games industry. Woo.

I'm just happy that they didn't put the Smart Pistol in this.

Don't see why they didn't just do what we did and have it on both platforms.

Great fun so far. Like I said I've never played RE2. Having a blast solving puzzles in the Police Station. Just taking my time and exploring and looking at all the details Running it on max on 1440p @ 60fps. Looks pretty dope.

I've only played Resident Evil 5 so might give this a whirl! Pretty pricey though... £45.
