As soon as you decide to go for the better option with a product that was previously free, people feel that they are entitled to give you crap for no solid reasons. NS2 gets it on a regular basis.

Why is duke nukem in that leaked footage?

Yes. I have an insta replying to my problems.

Is it running at default clock speeds? If it's overclocked then the stock cooler will start to struggle as it was never meant for that. Still, it's always better to get a 3rd party cooler regardless.

Hi guys, I need some advice.
My internet ping keeps spiking out all the tiime from 5pm to the early hours of the morning. I've run tracerts to ips with mad spikage all over the place, ping's in games go mad, teamspeak goes mad, anything. Even friends tracerting me have spikes all over the shop. So I cantact my ISP, they give me some vague solutions and I try them out and tell me that spiking on tracerts is nothing. WTF? no change. I've plugged myself straight into the master socket, tried a different PC, different routers, different adsl filters, everything I can possibly do with no change. Is it just my ISP being shit but they refuse to admit it? They keep telling me nothing is wrong and I'm the only one with problems. Should I just call it quits and get my MAC code and try someone else? I've never had trouble like this with my ping even with bad isp's.

Hah, looked like Ron Perlman at 2:40.I have to say I'm still uninspired by the overall look of the game; there's just something about the flatness and lack of character to the lighting and such that fails to please my eyes. The facial technology is just as incredible as before though, and IMO is a glimpse of a future where games will make extensive use of actual actors' faces — which will inevitably lead to actors becoming more involved with the marketing of games rather than merely voices in the credits.
I agree with all of this, this is definitely the best facial mocap we've ever seen and a step in the right direction for sure. Even if seems to take up so much resources the rest of the game has to look like something from 2001 :derp:
... if this was PC it could look like crysis and have cool facial mocap.
... PC.

I really think 80-90 is the sweet spot. Higher than that starts becoming fish eye, lower than that I always feel like i have tunnel vision, makes me feel like I'm zoomed in and not aware of whats happening around me. I seriously hope crysis2 doesn't have 55 on pc. Low fov works if your looking at a small tv, sitting pretty far away from it, but honestly most people playing games these days either have a pretty big tv, or tend to sit close to the screen, even console gamers.
+1 to that.
And really, I'm fine with having the option given to me to adjust the FOV in the settings, why can't it be like that, in there with the rest of the graphics options? It's not as if a PC is really going to struggle that much like a console would with a high FOV. But instead at the moment we have to dig around through the config files ala borderlands. Take a look at this, most of these changes were pretty mandatory for a decent playing experience on the PC:

Is the PC so second grade in most mainstream developers minds now that they expect PC users to fix and change everything themselves, because they are PC users, they know how to do these things anyway. And not many will probably buy it anyway so what does it matter if some stuff needs changing the hard way mindset?

Yes, but not all of us play the same way. If we did, this wouldn't be an issue and now that you have mentioend crysis 2 is in 55 fov, will this apply to the PC version as well? Am I going to have to go and modify my game again to get an experience that doesn't make me ill?
I need 80 to 120 fov to be able to play a game without feeling any form of nausea. Very, very rarely can I play a game with something lower.
