    very nice, robert.

the ground texture could be better. it looks a bit cobbly and dry. how about adding some moss and more vivid colours and contrast to it?

the rest is very very good looking, mister

it seems SK have some valid arguements, if you actually read what they are alleging - I wonder if Epic will bother to make a statement or if they will just hide behind lawyers at court? D:

    Quote

Epic Games' Vice President Mark Rein sent out a press release this afternoon notifying some gaming press of the suit: "This morning we were served with a lawsuit by Silicon Knights. We believe the claims against us are unfounded and without merit and we intend to fully defend against them," said Rein.

"We'd love to tell you more about it but unfortunately our lawyers want us to save our comments for the courthouse so we're going to do our best to comply with their wishes. In that vein we'd appreciate if our friends in the industry and media would refrain from asking us about the suit because we're only going to say 'no comment.' We just wanted to share the news directly before the rumor mill starts churning."

    like zap said

    1. usually studios book a flight for you and..

    2. ..pick you up at the airport or connecting trainstation (or get someone to pick you up, like a cab)

    3. i'd probably consider it rude, yes. in this case - if its not all too expensive - you should book a flight yourself. but maybe it depends on how desperate the company is to hire you. some might actually be fine with that

    4. definitely check out the area around the office and city center. also if you get the chance to talk to a couple of people from the company (like if they take you out for lunch) ask as many questions about the life there as possible. find out how much the average rent is and compare it with your proposed salary.

what warby said. usually its a lot easier to snap up some contract work if you got inhouse experience and shipped titles. otherwise you're just gonna get the shitty stuff. remember that when you apply for remote work you might not be the only one and you might have some tough competition. get as many reasons as possible to convince a company to hire you!

you dont need a job (remote or on-site) to improve your skills though. if you have a desire to do so you should just go ahead, paid or not, and improve as much as you can.
