good idea!
since noone here knows me or my work a bit except maybe Strat & Schmung I cant do that much ...but I can give suggestions! ![]()
magnum
I really like it! ...combines doing a whole backflip and zombies flying backwards with arms stretched out!
I really dislike the pulse rifle. First time I played HL² I used it all the time cuz it is effective and there was always enough ammo for it!
it's just too good imo, I barely used the standard machine gun in the city fights!
heheh! ...oh, gotta puke. excuse me!
I dont understand why this guy is even allowed to be in here!!!
from what I've heard, he stole work from others and presented it as his own!
This is totally unacceptable imo!!
yeah, the thing in the last pic looks much too realistic for the rest of the map!
neat!
mmh...well, I have to disable aa, vertical sync and anisotropic filtering to be able to run it fine!
I know all those ragdoll fun pics are getting boring but this was just too fitting...thx to mazy for the cl_ragdoll_colide command!!

jep! It's been over 1 year by now....but still: Awesome news!
I live in Germany in a 30.000 people town called Geesthacht (aka G-Town)! It's located in the north of Germany near Hamburg!
In WW2 many old buildings have been destroyed by bombardements (target was a nearby dynamite factory)!
so there are a lot of ugly buildings of the 50ies & 60ies...dont trust the following photos they just show the eye candys of G-Town!!
Here you've got some pics of the homepage:

why are things like that not enabled right from the beginning? I dont get it!
If it is because of performance: Okay! but why is there no entry in the options menue or something? :-?
*edit*
I've got these 2 shots for you! thought they were somehow cool, dunno know why exactly but here you go...remind me of some movie scenes I think!

veery nice, mino!
first pic's lighting is the only one I dont like! ...but the outside tower I've just noticed saves the quality of the pic!
areas like that are cool! they add a realistic feeling. I often get to see windows without anyting but the skybox behind em!
btw pic three and six got that sharp & clean look I like very much! ![]()
keep it up!
Quote from Section_Ei8htthat is some damn fine brushwork!
lighting is pretty cool too imho!
the brushwork is nice but one small thing I noticed are the cables in the hallway!(first pic) you've placed them in different heights, right?
well that's good but you could also use another texture for some of the cables to make it look more natural!
"Old Europe"
Quote from Minotaurothat looks too nice for a first map taxi~
Of course, this is not the first map I've ever created!
my first "map" was a little hollowed cube with a floating prefab couch and two hostages ...for CS!
and oh yeah...the first maps I've created at all had been for Duke Nukem 3D!
...at that time I didn't even know these things were called "map"!
I still remember that it was very hard for me to figure out how to create a vertical sliding door!
you had to give it a number or something!
And I still remember fooling my older brother (he was the only one who played my maps) with
a fake enemy (dunt know the name, the one that fires rockets and floats over the ground) standing in front of a toilet with his back to the player!!
that was fun...good old times!
*edit* hey hey! welcome to the party, schmung!
impressive, klein!
It weird to see someone at the same age as me (and even the same native country) move to another country to work there!
May I ask you a few questions via pm? Im very curious!
