    1) I don't buy jack shit from Steam2) I find the contracts a lot more interesting because I want to know how much Valve is getting out of this and how much the original publisher is getting out of it.

    1) You don't know what you're missing

    2) By looking at the (long) list of developers who sell on steam i would say its a good deal for both parts, or else there wouldn't be so many:

    http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php ... owse&cc=PT

Still i don't think we should worry about how much money they are making, i personally don't, i just care about the quality of their games.

If your power supply is not powerfull enough, it wont burn, but some of the other parts of the computer may not work, for example in order for the gfx to work the dvd drive may stop working.

Buying a good PSU is the best thing you can do, they are not that expensive and are well worth the money. Off course its also a nice idea to buy a UPS to avoid burning the PSU

Looks interesting but does it work?

It does work. It doesnt exactlly speeds up your internet, but it manages the traffic in a different way, giving priority to more important applications. For example you have an option that sets if you want to give priority to games or file sharing apps (p2p, torrents, etc).

Its really nice actually, but its just a 30 day trial, so you either buy it or steal it

  • Ok, so what's your opinion on this?

Its a world known fact that frensh and german people (at least) don't speak other languages. There was even a rather funny episode on the mtv show "The Diary of Sean Paul" where he was in france trying to have lunch and no one in the restaurant could understand him.

I also live in a place where turism is the main industry, so i'm used to be with people from different countries, and from my experience it is indeed true that german and frensh people are hard to comunicate with.

But i don't think that this is due to any sort of nationalist attitude, i think is more due to the languages being very different and its hard for the average german guy to learn english without proper education.

Sounds like not to many people here have tech knowledge of mobile phone game production. And why would we? :) So a different question, anyone play any other kinds of mobile games? Such as:

    - SMS based quiz games

    - Lotto games (like on T-Mobile in UK)

    - Location based (GPS) real world games

    - cellphone photo scavenger hunts?

    - etc...

    Just curious. Thx

I've around 100 games on my mobile so i think i can help with that. Looking at the rankings of Portuguese Vodafone, the most played (donwloaded) games are the ones based on famous movie/games franchises. Usually one or two weeks after the game or movie its released you can get the mobile game, so its a nice way to get an ideia fo the plot.

About those you mentioned i don't really like them, and i don't know of anyone else who does. Some of them require you to spend money each time you play, big part are just boring, and when people play a cell phone game they usually just want to spend some time, so they get the best game to achieve that (at least in my case).

Erm.. I know reeke, which is one of the active team members and he did all the maps, textures, models, skins, basically all the content you see in the game. Its hard to say the oposite since just by playing you can recognise is unique mapping and texture style.

I assume that the other guy (mod leader) did all the coding part. I don't know what those contributors did, but aparentelly not much...

But what its important here is the mod

It’s been two years of production so far, and it’s finally time to open up the doors for public testing. So get in there, spit some acid, build some mushrooms and bite some heads!Being an alpha version means there’s still plenty of development to be done. We hope there’s enough here to show you how much potential the mod has, and we hope you join our forum community to help make it the best mod it can possibly be.

    See you on the servers!

Btw this mod was made by two guys! I think its a nice punch in the face for those giant projects that are never finished.

Are you using any software to change windows appearance? Sometimes thats the problem.

Also I think that some browsers allow you to use user defined css, in that case you might accidentally be using one...
