Most of these buildings are featured on a show from the Discovery Channel. I Believe it's called "Mega Buildings", but I'm not sure ![]()
And this is a really cool site, nice find ![]()

Quote from e-freak600€ per Month???
That's without the taxes, we need to give a part of those 600€ to the state for our retirement found, so we usually end up with less than 550€ each month, which is my salary atm as a computer tech ![]()
The biggest problem is that after we adopted the €, the prices inflated almost 200% in some cases, for example a coffee used to cost .25€, and it now costs 0.50€ to 0.80€, and in some places it can go up to 1€! So we get payed the same as before, but have to pay 2 times more for almost everything. What happens now is that more than half of our population is in debt, and sometimes the loans are not made to pay for a house or a car, they are made to pay for the end of the month expenses, there are even some families that get loans to pay for other loans, which is insane!
About the US financial crisis... it's great
hahaha buying things online from the US has never been better, it even compensates for the shipping fees most of the time. For example COD4 costs 49.99$, that's more or less 30€, shipping fees are around 10$, which is more or less 5€, that totals 35€ for a game that costs 55€ in stores here in Portugal
If you buy 2 games you save enough to buy a third game!
QuoteMr. Thompson,We have received your letter to EA's shareholder site. In response to your offer to assist in the proposed acquisition of Take-Two, we would strongly prefer that you not get involved in this matter. EA is a strong supporter of creative freedom for game developers. We feel that your past statements – including false claims about content in our games – make any collaboration with you impossible.
Ouch....! ![]()

So gonna buy it...
I think that bundle will be just available in the US. In Europe it will come with a different game (can't find a link now...)
Well TBL looks really great, and it's probably the best TR of them all, but i don't know how it will work for a fps.
You can grab the TRL demo from steam and check it out ![]()
Quote from TarkyI would just like to make a point.. as I am staff at ModDB.v4 was built completely from the ground up, and in order to get most of the community helping fill up our new approach with content we launched it.
There is still a lot of features to come, and a lot of features to be implemented into v4.
Comments on profiles, mods etc are back in as of last night. And things are moving very quickly.
And guys constructive criticism would be nice as opposed to general bashing. If you have an idea - suggest it.
You need better designers... the site looks really ugly now comparing to the later version.
Warcraft and Commander & Conquer could be a nice place to start ![]()
Dux... Brazilian girls... they never change..
There was a game named "music" for the original PS, but i don't think that's what you're looking for ![]()

But like was said before in Brazil they also speak Portuguese, and also in some African and Indian countries (which probably don't have that many gamers).
And there are many more countries on top of Spain in the Steam survey, so i don't see what's the point of making a translation in Spanish ![]()
And i hardly believe that the Steam survey crashes just in Spain...
Well if you look at the steam hardware survey you will see that only 0.69% of the steam users have Spanish has their language, so i don't see any reason why they should add it.
English 60.42%
German 12.27%
French 10.00%
Russian 4.22%
Portuguese 2.45%
It would make more sense to add Portuguese or Russian...
In my opinion valve could pull a really interesting plot twist from now on. We already know that Gordon is going to rescue something from Aperture Science in EP3, well what if in Portal 2 (if they do make one) you also have to rescue that equipment in a race against Gordon? You could see Gordon, and fight him (gravity gun vs portal gun would be interesting), and you get two games with two different characters, which have both the same objective but work for different factions.
I hope they do something like this ![]()
I read at Interlopers that the German version of the game is censured ![]()
You don't see any blood when you shot the combine and the bodies disappear right after you kill them...
Quote from FrieChampYou create a great game and people will buy the equipment to run it, or enjoy it on a smaller scale or a few months later.
The problem here is that most players can't even "enjoy it on a smaller scale", and won't probably enjoy it in a "few months". Your aiming the game for a market that doesn't exist, and if you look at it the game will actually cost around 350€ for the average player, since you need to add the game price to the hardware upgrades you need to make. I'm not sure if that many people want to spend that much just to play one game. We will just have to wait and see, bot it seems that many people share this opinion.
QuoteYep, there are gamers/consumers worldwide who do not use Steam. Vavle's survey sample size is 1,092,762. 9 million WoW players worldwide suggest that there are more than ~ 1million PC gamers. So what % of the total pc gamer market does the Valve # represent?
In my pov that only means that 1,092,762 actually accepted to participate in the survey, not how many use steam. To know that you would kneed to know how many people bought games from valve, which i think is much more than that (but obviously less then those who play wow
).
Quote from FrieChampnewsflash:There are gamers/consumers out there who do not use Steam.
Yeah, the ones who don't have a PC... come on, almost every gamer has played HL2, CS, DOD or TF and as such has steam installed. If Crytek was smarter they could have used Steam statistics to get a better target group.
I'm kind of disappointed with this specs, although it seems that i can run the game without any trouble, but it won't be any fun if there isn't anyone to play with.
I don't know if this ban will be effective. You can go on-line and order the game from another country... ![]()
